I liked the affordable fee structure and the policies related to fee submission.
The quality of education was also decent.

They dont provide the placements, even for the deserving students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course and SSVIT because it was alligning with my interest of becoming an Engineer. It was a 4 year course having 8 semester, 6 months for every semster was a decent time to prepare for the exams. I have a suggestion for the improvement and that is, the syllabus of the course was too much if there is any way reduce the syllabus of the course to the core subjects or the subjects that are really important.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee - 60000 per year Resistration Fee - 2000 Tusion fee - It was included in 60000 I got the goverment scholarship in final year only. For students of SC/ST categories, SSVIT provides addmission on scholarship bases. you dont have to pay any ammount, all the deductions will be made once you get the scholarship.

Campus Life

There was multiple types of annual and technical festivals. We used to celebrate Diwali and Christmas there. In SSVGI there was diffirent clubs for the organisation of diiffirent types of activities, and i was the member of the Oasis Club.

Admission

I chose SSVGI because of the affordability and the location, The college is located in bareilly that is near to my hometown. Yes, I got rejections or say i was not able to crack their entrance exams. The eligibility for the course is, Intermediate with 60 percent or above marks in PCM, and the exams they accepts UPSEE

Faculty

Faculty was good and well experienced. There really liked the nature and behaviour of my Head of department (HOD) Mr Manish Varshney. It was a 8 semester course and the exams happening every 6 months for each semester.

Night Life

SSVGI organises an new year night party every year. The new year celebration is also known as the Star Night, as they invite a bollywood star or singer every year. When i was in the college, they invited famous Statndup Comedian Harsh Gujral.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

SSVGI Collage review
