Remarks
Our college stands out in academic performances but nowadays they aren't enough to get a job. Students needs extra skills and social skills to get work in a vibrant environment. The negative point is still management restricts boys talking to girls and girls talking to boys. They still separate them from other this won't help them to develope social skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed by anna university. Our college comes under anna university's affiliated colleges. The exam structure is also designed by anna university exam structure is so good. But when it comes to execution anna university's paper valuation is the one of the worst in India. There will be lot of students apply for revaluation and will get corrected results.
Placement Experience
There is no internship in our college so far. Placements and job opportunities are so poor. Its because of the Economic crisis happening all over world. And also due to plenty of candidates waiting outside searching for jobs. So institution can't get jobs to students.
College Events
1.Symposium 2.Talent Identification Contest Theses are the only department related events we celebrated yearly. Apart from this there are some cultural events are celebrated but rarely. In those events we did participated enthusiastically and enjoyed it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is comparatively expensive to govt college and other small fellow intuitions. They collect more fees but the facilities doesn't look up to the mark. So only i think fee structure should be reviewed and need some reforms.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some special scholarships are offered by our management for brilliant students. Anyone can avail 50% reduction in college fee by obtaining no 1 rank in their respective department. Apart from this govt provides more scholarships on caste basis for students.
Campus Life
Sports are highly encouraged in our college. They provide excellent infrastructure for sports. Labs are the one of the main good thing about our college. It got the best lab facilities among any other college in Kanchipuram district. Extracurricular activities are also highly encouraged.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini network works actively and using that network they are trying to provide new job opportunites for students. And they also collect some large amount from students to keep the network actively.
Admission
I got entered in my college through interview, i am belonging to oc category so its so hard for me to get into college through merit list. So i entered through direct interview method. After finishing interview process we can choose our desired course.
Faculty
Due to poor economical status of college there are no experienced faculties. This problem is not only happening here its happening all over tamilnadu. Lots of youngsters waiting to teach for low pay, considering economic situation colleges doing it.
