My college experience of mvgr

Curriculum is not that much industry relevant and there are few subjects which are waste. course curriculum must be improved a lot. mid exams are held for every 1.5 month and sem end exams are held every 5-6 months.

from 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. internships are not provided in the college. highest package is 25lpa. average package is 5.5lpa. placements are not upto that mark. nearly 70-80% of the students get selected.

I belong to management quota so my fee is 230000 but for the students who joined through ap eamcet, their fee is 74470 and if you are eligibile for fee reimbursement then government will pay on behalf of you. But a mandatory fee of 7000 is to be paid by everyone.

fests and events are conducted very rare in the college. only annual day is conducted and fests are events depends on the mood of the college. sports infrastructure is very worst no importance is given to sports. social groups such as swecha coding club and nss are conducted

In hostel for every room there can be a maximum of 2 members. mess food is not that much good. it is better to take a room outside for rent and opt for mess and it will cost less compared to college hostel.

I didn't have any options to opt for other colleges as this is the only college which is near to me. admission process is very simple there is no gd/pi for admission. you can join either through ap eamcet or management quota or ap - ecet for diploma students. cutoff is 15000 for cse general category.

Faculty to student ratio is pretty decent and they are very friendly to students and one can freely approach to faculty without any fear if you have doubt. There are 2 end semester exams conducted every year and each sem will have 2 mid exams and the difficulty level is moderately tough.

night life is very good in and around the college campus. library infrastructure is very good it contains nearly 1000s of books where you can prepare for gate and government also. it is safe to roam around at night. famous hangout places are canteen, baker's choice, civil pond, temple outside of the college.
