Course Curriculum Overview

5

I was pretty average in studies and also for our course there was no entrance so I took this course. Our curriculum had advanced accounting, gst and some law subjects too. So a well round course affiliated to the university of Mumbai, and therefore I don't seek any changes whatsoever in our course as it was a proper admirable course.

Internships Opportunities

5

Icici Bank, Axis Securities and other companies were commerce students could contribute were the companies where we had opportunities to find Internships. A stipend which can be called good enough in student life was given to us.

Placement Experience

5

EMAMI, HUL, Tech Mahindra and many more companies that are there in Airoli chose our college as partner for getting the workforce they wanted. Lucky for us that we didn't had to go here and there and got the placements from campus only.

Fees and Financial Aid

At our college the fees was 31000 and around 4000 extra as gym fees and exams fees were seperate. Since it was a private college so scholarships were not many but still good enough for toppers and all to bring fees down.

Campus Life

5

Our campus wasn't that big as three buildings in all which also included the admin building. There was a playground as well and one canteen which has WadaPav to Thali so even though I was a local student, I never took tiffin with me. We had fests every year with a different name like in my final year the event name was Jalsa and a year before that it was called Esperanto.

Admission

I applied for DY Patil and have entrance for the same. However for B.Com the fees was over 100k and our group too is as good as anyone I chose this as fees was less and opportunities were same. I graduated in 2024 and secured a job as well from campus.

Faculty

5

Our faculties are rare as even for B.Com we have been assigned faculties who are economist or MBA from top colleges like the Symbiosis, GIPE and others. Our every need or doubts were solved by them and it was the nature of theirs which made me believe and have faith in them. Mrs Anjali Nagpal was my favourite as she always gave some extra marks to students in internals.

Night Life

5

We obviously didn't had campus hostels and college remained open till 8 pm. On events we stayed at the college till 11 pm as well. Nearby hangout places were Central Park Mall, Kharghar and Adai Hills to name a few.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
