Pharmacy life in utkal

It's curriculum is vast but interesting.. If u will put interest u will be enjoying or else u will be struggling for sure. In my case exam timing was a bit faster and clumsier bcz of corona. Pharmacology and Ceutics are very imp to understand and med Chem u have to remember the structures.

Every student has to complete the industrial internship and hospital internship for the record . Abicee pharmaceuticals and alkem labs both had been provided. For hospital training we had gone to the city hospital

8th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Pulsus, Macleod pharma , Cipla , aronindo pharma, many came. Highest offer was 3.7lpa for bpharm and 5.7 for mpharm 40 to 50 % students getting placed. But university do provide full support for employability and skill development and provides internships.

I had paid 70000 every year , for each sem 35000 is the tuition fees and other charges are like 1200 to 2000 , it varies . This university provides many scholarships like Prerna and many other govt scholarships . Categorically like the economically backward people will get some aid from govt and some are totally free of cost.

Pharmacy week is the major event that occur in my dept. Here sports , health checkup , blood donation, many awareness programs etc happen. Cricket has its own charm and apart from that many outdoor and indoor games are played.

If u r a distant student u will be getting hostel for sure bcz u will be getting 1st priority and food is as usual hostel food but more than avg. Chicken , fish , egg everything will be provided even crab and prawns too. There are pg and rooms available nearby the university

This is the only govt college in Odisha for b pharm, so as I had secured a good rank so I chose this. There are other good colleges like salepur, Roland , Dadhichi etc.. DD is Mandatory in admissions. U have make dds for the process to documents should be proper.

1:60 , is the teacher : student ratio. Debashis Mohanty sir , he is a talented teacher and has so much of interest in teaching. Suneet sir , Tripathy sir, Sradha ma'am ..they are also very good teachers. I didn't like the lack of focus for the development of own dept . There are 2 sems each year that includes 4 internals . U will be alright ... u just have to focus on studies . Everyone passed

There are gym, cafeterias , many go to eat places and parks . Gandhi park is the best place to hang out with friends Library and canteens are there to have fun Hostel and fun is compulsory But sometimes ragging happens
