Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is relatively good from other universities in terms of internships and projects. There is a need to focus more on practical exposure and real-world case studies. The content should be improved a little bit. The difficulty of examinations is moderate, including 3 internals and 1 end-term examination.

Internships Opportunities

4

JECRC offers internships at TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc, in roles like dev and analyst. Projects include app development and data work. Some companies offer stipends, but some offer experience and real-world problems. Students gain exposure to real-world problems and get ready for the industry.

Placement Experience

4

At JECRC University, placements generally start from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc visit. HIghest package is 44 lakhs, whereas the average is 5-6 lakhs, 80 percent something students get placed. I plan to work in content/consulting and study an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 68,750, and other fees are 28,750. I paid a one-time admission fee of 10,000, There are numerous scholarships available based on your 12th percentage and JEE percentile, which go up to 30 percent depending on your scores. i paid 1,07,500 for my fifth semester including the 10,000 as admission fees ,

Campus Life

3

The campus life is vibrant, with fests like JU Rhythm(February) and Techspark(October) being conducted every year. The library is rich, classrooms are tech-enabled. Sports, clubs, and student groups make the campus life engaging and fun.

Admission

I chose JECRC due to its infrastructure, course value, extracurricular and helpful faculty members. I did not go to other universities because I got selected in the College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra, but I was getting a very low branch, and also my parents did not allow me. Speaking of other universities, they have a very high fee structure and travel issues.

Faculty

3

The faculty-student ratio is 1:80. Most of the faculty are easily approachable and helpful. Some faculties are strict and less supportive. There are 3 internals and 1 semester exam per semester. To pass, you need 35%, internals have 20 percent weightage, whereas finals have 80 percent weightage. The exams are relatively tough, students do fail, the curriculum is industry-based, but theory is heavy; last year includes internships and projects.

Night Life

2

Nightlife at JECRC is chill. The in time for the hostel is 9 PM. The library and gym shut down at 7 pm. The cafe closes by 8 pm. Hangout spots include Tapri, WTP, GT, etc. The locality around the campus is safe and students unwind with chats, music, and food outside.

The placements of my college are quite good for my course and also they are nice for other branches . The highest package of last year was 47 lakhs per annum for the CS branch of my course and average package was 6 lpa . I am in first year right now so i can not tell about my placement but yes the placements are nice in our college and the rate of placement is also decent . My college has tie ups with some companies and train the students according to the demand in the industries. Students who wants to do start ups our college also supports them and give some amount of investments. The culture of my college is really very helping and supporting.
