Remarks
Well this college was giving the best bang for the buck, when looked at the fees, scholarships and the placements scenario. The other college I looked at were either not providing good placements, or were providing similar placements but at a much higher fees. The college also gives free transport so that was also a game changer!
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is industry oriented and modern too. Apart from the prescribed curriculum, the college gives certain add-on courses like Microsoft certifications, digital marketing certifications, communication classes and PDP classes which actually help a lot in placements.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are availbale right from the end of the first year itself. Most of the companies give paid internships and are located in Delhi NCR. Stipend ranges from 10,000 to 25,000 per month and the duration is generally 3 months.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. Companies from the domains of finance, operations, marketing and HR frequent the campus. Genpact, Capegemini, British Telecom are the companies that a lot of students get absorbed into. The packages are pretty good too. Some of the students choose to join their family business after the course. I would say more than 70 percent of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 93250/- per year, exluding the examination fees which is charged by the university. There are certain scholarships available for economicaly weaker students, and certain scholarships for girl students too.
Campus Life
The campus life is very vibrant! There is annual Youth festival, apart from the regular farewell and freshers parties. There are also Holi fests and Diwali fests. Student clubs are very active and a lot of fun too. All in all, it is a fun place to be at.
Faculty
The faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching style is very interesting and they make the lectures very engaging. There are generally 2 internal exams every semester, apart from the university exam at the end of every semester.
Interview Experience
No there were no GD, Interviews or Written tests for admssions. We had to do a web registration and then apply directly to the college. They have a minimum graduation percentage criteria for admission, if you do not meet that then you will not be given admission to the college.
Night Life
The college does not have a hostel, so I can not say much about the night life. But the day life is definitely happening! There are lot of rooftop cafes, restaurants around the campus. Transport is also easily available if you do not have your own vehichle.
