Reality,Truth,Verace

Imma be honest joining here isn't helping me much. It's just idk how i joined here it just happened in the spur moment, i didn't knew the existence of the other college if I knew I would have joined there. As i said earlier the curriculum it's so dated and can't be accommodated in this generation I feel like this should be abolished time and new system should be born out of this. There is always room for improvement in this college. Curriculum is so outdated that it should be learnt 10 years back I think so yeah the times are changing and the system should change itself too.

Internships are offered but I they are like we have to pay to attend the sessions which are just online classes in the name of Internships. They are paid too ,I mean the purpose of internshop is too be free and for gaining experience. Internships are just not so worthy.

Students are eligible for placements in the 6th semester. The placements are below average , i don't see much seniors getting placed in much core companies. This college is a market for Sevice based mass recruiters. As a student from here i wouldn't trust the placement cell. The packages are so low. The highest package was 35 lpa i think so which was offered to a single student 5 years back. This is true and don't trust the highest package. I plan to start a legacy of my own.

For my department the fee structure is given below ???????? Tuition fee-55000 Exam fee-5000 Book fee-20000 Career Development Course-20000 (In ?) the above mentioned fee is mandatory for attending classes. For NBA non accredited course the fees might be lower compared to this(BE CSE is NBA accredited) Scholarships are provided to every category students. Personal opinion - for this fees i feel like iam not getting enough value back.So iam rating 3 stars for affordability.

The campus life is good yet they can do much more, the only event that I witnessed is a Flashmob that is too in recent days. Annual event - A cultural once in a year Technical event - Hackathon, Tech events once in a year in the even semester start. The library has only subject related books in majority. The class room just have a green board and several fans. A single sports event that too once a year held secretly. I mean like people should be more open about it, and people favour each other in sports , there is no chance for learning something new. There are clubs but none of them are active, and a single club is active in the whole college which just posts a single coding question everyday. Inauguration of clubs were started only when the college was about to be accredited BY NAAC. Before that the college used to be different more like a school(still more like a school ????)

I applied to several other colleges too but idk how i joined here. It happened so fast. I applied here through TNEA counselling ,since I reside in the same city and why not it's SRM , got fooled by the Name. The cutoff is just average for the highest rating course it sits in the range of 150-170 out of 200.

Faculty : Student 1:20 The faculties in a mid tier college , can't expect much. They have PhDs but I don't feel like they are really PhD graduates. I feel like they joined here out of unemployment. The faculty Student relationship depends on how they communicate with each other. There are some good staffs too but are controlled by the boring system. They conduct like 2 exams for internals and models before main exams. It is not much difficult can pass if studied the bare minimum. Can ace if studied well.

There are campus supervisors everywhere around and they monitor students . There is no such thing as a night life here. There are two suites like in a plane , There are two colleges(Engineering and arts)offering same courses There are two Hostels(Conventional and Premium) Famous hangout spot - Basil restaurant There are many cafe ,restaurant, and other things just outside the college. Since iam not a hosteler i don't know much.
