Positive: Good for students with hindi background, low or average performing students, because college work very hard and intensely work on student to lift them. Negative: It is my personal experience, Bright students suffer in college because they are managed by average faculty and poor competition which makes them hopeless. Discipline and attendance system of college also discourage bright student and innovation.

PGC is affiliated to RAJASTHAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (RTU) and hence follow the guidelines and course as per the university rules. Exams are conducted as per the semester. Results are announced 3-4 months after commencement of exams. If a student fails in exam, then he will have to file rechecking form and have to wait for next 2-3 months for confirmation or he will have reappear after one year.

Placement and Job opportunity are good. Companies like Infosys, Capgemini recruit at mass level (~100). While many other companies also visit but recruit in small quantities. Around 500 students get placement every year out of 1500~1800 students.

Aarohan- the only college fest. It is celebrated near Diwali for 3-4 Days. There are some award distribution or small event also organised. In terms of fun, the college scores the least. However, since there are so many colleges nearby, One can participate in other college fest as well. Note: To your dismay, Aarohan is celebrated in daytime only. Apart from that, those who are living in hostel, for them an yearly hostel fest is also there.

The fee structure is quite feasible. College fee is around 80k per year. Hostel fee is also 80k per year. The fee is quite affordable and as per RTU. Apart from that, Around 2000-5000 Rs per year educational expenditure is there. Other expenses depend on personal capacity.

College provide fee waiver based on socio-economic background, score in jee main. Compensation is provided only on tuition fee. The range of compensation varies from as low as 10 percent of fee waiver to 100 percent fee waiver.

Labs are good but not as par with standard labs. However there are 90 percent practical applicable to course can be done in lab.Also Lab assistant provide help when students is working on any project. Sports is not cup of tea of college. There is no sports ground. However Basketball ball court and volleyball court are available in college. Apart from that, some techfests are also organised by college. They also keep conducting seminar for students.

Hostel is quite good and well maintained. Hostel Food, Room, Water facility are good and one doesn't any difficulty during his stay at hostel. Also Hostel provide many tution classes by senior student and there is mentorship program running in hostel.

College have an alumni association viz Poornima Alumni Association (PAA). College conduct yearly activity for alumni. Most of the students are placed in mnc and working as an employee level. Therefore, They can't help even if they want to.

I was a case of Direct Admission. You just have to search Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) in Google Maps. Go to admin room. Enquire about the choice of course, choice of college among Poornima Group of Colleges (PGC). Seats are available on first come first serve basis. If one is early enough, he will get comfortably admission in choice of course. However, Branch fill quickly in descending order CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION, IT. Depends on how early you applied. Also among PGC, PCE seats fill first then PIET and finally PGI. Besides students also screened through RPET(NOW DROPPED), JEE Score.

Faculty is generally the post graduate engineering student of average college. Some of them who are preparing for something and doing part time job are good, while some are good for nothing. The average salary of faculty is 30k per month. While new faculty is recruited on 20k per month. On the basis of their salary one can have an idea. However, the management is quite good and they take outcome even from a average faculty. Management make sure that every student work hard.
