Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects are upto industry standards and are the required skills needed in the modern world. The teaching pedagogy is structured in a way the student can understand complex topics easily. There are frequent internal assessments that test your understanding of the subject and the faculty adjusts the course teaching pace according to the performance of the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic Fees is 3,50,000 per annum. And for Deakins Program it should be near double. There might be an increment around 12% per annum. Scholarships are awarded to Students with top scores, top 2 positions.
Campus Life
There are multiple clubs and committees a student fan join in this college which allows for continuous participation in the college activities. It also helps students be a part of their own club community and get a sense of belonging and responsibility all the while teaching them useful skills for their careers. There is a library available on campus along with a reading room where students prepare for their exam in a very calm environment. As for sports infrastructure while it could be better, the college does book sports grounds for students to practice their sport.
Admission
Symbiosis is a very reputable brand and the course structure is very robust allowing the student to study subjects that they choose to a certain degree. This level of personalization allows me to build a unique profile that makes me stand out amongst other students studying a similar course. Admission process was very smooth and straightforward with a test followed by an essay round and finally an interview after which merit lists were released.
Faculty
Faculty is very approachable and visiting faculty keeps changing every semester but everyone who teaches has good industry experience and has been teaching for a while. There is also an integration of application based knowledge that allows for students to understand real life application of the theory learnt.
Interview Experience
The Interview consists of questions regarding your personal motivations as well as academic background. You may also be asked technical questions based on you stream of studies or questions related to general knowledge or current affairs.
Night Life
Nightlife in college hostels are very social and people meet each other and chat about their day with their peers and even engage in playing sports of games to pass time. There are even study groups where people help each other with subjects that some find difficultm
