Remarks
Postive points of the college are its infrastructure, Labs , Proper drinking water etc. There are 2 canteens where we can get food , drinks, and basic needs. Quality of food in these canteeens are also good. There is less negative points which could be neglected.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 5 branches , 1.Mechanical engineering, 2.Electrical engineering, 3.Electrical and Electronics engineering, 4.Autombile Engineering, and 5. Civil engineering
Placement Experience
Placement is held every year in which many private companies come to hire students. Some renowned companies like Mahindra, Ceat, Volvo, Electosteel, etc hold placement. Every year more than 200 students get placements all across India. Salary is comparatively less in starting because companies only hire freshers as 6 months training period but after a year their salary is increased.College doesn't provide any internship.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is feasible. Admission charge is about ?40000(which includes 1st semester fee, caution money and other charges) And fee is ?23000 per semester (6 months).Hostel and bus charge are not included in this.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship facility is available only for students of Jharkhand as per Government rules. In each branch there are 6 TFW quota seats. TFW means their tution fee is forgiven. Only development charge and examination fee is charged from them. Besides TFW, students also get scholarship from Kalyan Vibhag Scholarship schemes.
Campus Life
College is very active in extra curricular activities. Sports competition are often held. Most popular competition is the Inter college Volleyball competition held every year. College has volleyball court, and Basketball court.Laboratories are equipped with proper equipments. Workshop has plenty of lathe machines.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are always helpful. There is no ragging inside campus. Senior students helps whenever required. They talk politely with juniors. They also motivate new students about their life and future.
Admission
Firstly, I gave the JCECE entrance exam. Then counselling is held in Ranchi according to Ranks. My rank was 2604 so when I went at the counselling there I had to submit ?1500 challan and all documents including residence,caste and income certificate. After documents verification, I had to choose college. I chose KK POLYTECHNIC because it is a good college and it is not far from my home. Then after getting allotment letter ,I went to the college in desired date and took admission.
Faculty
It is a nice college situated far from traffic in a peaceful area. Anyone who wants to pursue Diploma or B.Tech can take admission without any doubt. I am happy with the infrastructure and management. Only problem is that in Electrical branch there is lack of qualified professors.
