Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is taken from Anna university syllabus so nothing can be said about the college in regards to this. The syllabus is pretty well structured, making sure we get ample knowledge across various fields in computer science.

Internships Opportunities

4

I have heard of a lot of seniors who have gotten internships from outside companies. The college really encourages this and gives us credits. They will conduct viva to check if we got any benefits from the internships.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester. I do not have information on the number of companies visited but a lot of students got placed into good companies with high packages. The highest package i have seen is 44LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 130000 Tuition fees is 55000, Placement added course is 25000, Book fees is 25000, e-learning is 25000 I do not have information on the fees of my batchmates for categories other than mine

Campus Life

5

Many events happen, like Talentia, Symposiums for various departments. And there is an extensive library with a lot of books which you can refer. There are many labs equipped with personal computers and air conditioning. There is a basketball court. There are a lot of clubs too.

Admission

I chose this college since it is located inside a city. It is pretty close to my home and my cousin has also studied here before so she recommended it to me. I got accepted in VIT Vellore too but I chose this college.

Faculty

4

I do not have information on the faculty to student ratio but in my class, there are 60 students. Faculties are pretty approachable. I especially like the faculties from the maths department (though i could be biased since i love maths). There are not a lot of exams and they are pretty doable.

Night Life

5

My favourite hangout spot is the main block canteen food truck. You can also study in the library. The campus timing is 8:15 to 3:45. I have not personally been here at night but there is a lot of security.

Many staffs work on the placement. Hence the placement is average . They provide interships and consider it as placement. Hence take a person with intern offer from the database. But only few finally get the employement offer and offers left unemployed.

Top recruited companies like TCS, and MNC arrived for campus interviews in our college. If a student gets eligible for TCS placement he should have zero arrears and more than 60% in their 10th and 12th standard. The college is good in placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in machinery and automobiles and that is the major reason to select this course. There were sufficient faculties and students to run this department in an efficient way, the faculty-student ratio was good enough to have a healthy conversation for the development. All the faculties were well qualified and most of the teaching method was practical only a few of them were following the traditional method of teaching. The term exams were in a periodic manner and followed quarterly.
