SRM Easwari Engineering College is considered to be the best and has also been ranked number one among all the colleges under Chennai University. The institute has been consistently ranked number one for the past eight semesters, which is 4 years. It has a great legacy as well as placement records. The University has provided almost 900 job offers to its students for the last placements that are 2019-2020 years. Academics: For B. Tech, the required eligibility is 10+2 or it's equivalent from any board. The candidates need to clear his HSC exam with at least 45% age with respective subjects. Admissions are also provided based on the merit list which is curated after the performance in the TNEA entrance exam. Last year the cutoff for the TNEA exam was nearly 8,991 for the CSE department in the general category. The fee structure for the BTech course is 1.5 to 2 lakh for the whole course. Placements Statistics: Placements at SRM Easwari Engineering College, have an extensive record in the past. Many core companies visit the campus during placements if you are in the Computer Science department. Some tech companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus as soon as your third year comes to an end. Last year almost 94% of the students got placed in the CSE department, with 18 lacs per annum being the highest CTC provided by Amazon. The average package was of 6 lacs per annum provided by many mass recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. Many internships are offered to IT sectors like the computer science engineering department as well as the information technology department. Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fees is 1,35,000 inr for ppl coming coming from counselling but for mgmt ppl its 1,85,000 inr Book fees is 25k and CDC is 25k Scholarships are available for 1st graduation students or if come from a low financial background or ur siblings are studying in the SRM group

We pay 1.5 lakh per month. Scholarship does apply. We get reduction according to our 12th marks during management. Minimum of 80% is required in PCM for counselling. We do get scholarships for few communties according to our parents LPA

My Perceptions of EEC so far

The Yearly Fees is 1,30,000 rs. per year - split up to 55,000 Rs. for the Tuition fees, 25,000 Rs. for the Book fees, 25,000 Rs. for e-Learning and the rest for Career Development Courses (They have taken aptitude courses so far).

More than a degree : Life, Learning and opportunities at EEC

The college is academically sound , but adding more creative programs like entrepreneurship will be a great value add
While the curriculum is solid, more guest lectures form industry experts could enhance practical learning futher

I'm currently pursuing my B.E degree at Easwari Engineering College and i would like to share how the fee structure works here and how it helps students in their education journey. Through the government quota i pay about ?55,000 per year with a one time admission of ?5000in the first year approximately around ?2.2 Lakhs for the full course Students at the Mangement Quota , around ?3.4 lakhs overall. While detailed breaksups are not listed the whole process is smooth and transparent. What stands out at EEC is that it suports various government schmes like First Graduate Scheme and AICTE Scheme are actively encourages and well - facilitated by the college. Especially students from reserved categories, benifit from full or partial fee reimbursemennt making education far more accessible

A balanced journey of Academics, Skill-building, and campus life

The total fees is 1,30,000 (yearly) in which the tution fee is 55,000, book fee is 25,000, e-learning fee is 25,000, placement fee is 25,000. This fee does not increase or decrease. They also provide scholarships for first graduate and other students.

College experience at Easwari Engineering College

The fees is 130000 yearly. Excluding the exam fees which is around 3000 per semester. The transport fees starts from 45000 per year that is aside of the yearly fees. It is affordable compared to other engineering colleges in Chennai
