Reality of Easwari Engineering College

Likes

Cultural fests and and symposiums are really good
We have smart people in this college and a very collaborative environment
No ragging in the campus or hostels at all... Seniors are quite friendly and helpful

Dislikes

Faculties can be even better in teaching... It's boring and feels useless if u attend classes like a school kid but your not getting the Output
Even though the college syllabus is improving every semester.... We still learn alot of outdated technology like many colleges

Admission:

The college was nearby and had a good reputation. Only got rejected in IIT or didn't get my fav branch in other top universities so chose this. Admission process depends on TNEA counselling and no entrance exam required

the admission process was smooth and transparent. Admission done through state level couselling and also through management quota for some seats. Cutoffs varied by branch with core branches generally have high cutoffs.

i like the teaching system in this colllege it is very practical and object oriented
research and development is affliated to the main research centers and there are many stratups in this college which is strarted by the students
placements are segregated in to very different ctaegores alike marquee llike that which is very usefull for the students to copu up with and stay motivtaed throughout the journey of thier college

Admission:

i choose srm eashwari engineering college for its good placements, faculty and fees. i also aplied to ssn and velaamal, but i didnt get ssn due to hugh cutoff. admission was through tnea counselling based on 12ytht mark,cutoff for top branches

college has many clubs and they organizing many events.
faculties are friendly and they are well educated
laboratories are well equipted with advanced technologies

Dislikes

college schedule is more hectic and more congisted
lot of assignments and record works for internal marks
personally for me commuting takes too much of time

Admission:

I choose this college because of its good reputation,placement opportunities and location which is conviented for many students because college is in center of the city.Compared to other colleges i applied to,this college had better infrastructure.

Likes

Faculties are very friendly and motivating. We are given special attention and they follow our pace. There is no partiality among students. They also conduct special classes for students to be more efficient in their exams
Our college is not just academics oriented , it is also conducts a lot of culturals, events and hackathons. We have many club here in which we join and also help organize such events. This makes us creative,innovative and boost our leadership skills
Infratructure is really good. We provided with a lot of facilities like libraries and many labs to work with.

Dislikes

Sometimes college becomes really tiring and exhausting with too many assignments, projects etc.
There are few teachers who are a little hard to work with and are strict.

Admission:

I did apply for SRM Ramapuram, SSN, St.josephs etc, but i chose easwari for its academics and college life balance. There are so many things to enjoy here. The environment is very pleasing and welcoming. We also get exposure to other colleges.

My take on Easwari Engineering College

Likes

Professors are very friendly, helpful and approachable at any given time
College conducts many cultural events which makes students relax themselves from their busy schedule
Good placement support. Many top companies come here for placement

Dislikes

Restrooms are in awful shape and especially boys restrooms are always closed most of the time
The academic schedule is too heavy throughout the semester
Hostel maintenance is bad. No proper source of clean water and hostel food is just below average.

Admission:

I had only applied to Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College, Perambalur, but I cancelled the seat beacuse the staff there did not seem very friendly and the campus looked quite old. I chose Easwari Engineering Colleg because of its good placement oppurtunites and the friendly relationship between staff and students. The admission process here is fairly simple. The eligibility varies for each course, for Automobile Engineering the minimum requirement was 55% in 12th standard. Admission can be taken either through management quota or through TNEA counselling based on cutoff marks. My admission process was smooth and only required filling out some basic form with personal details

My Perceptions of EEC so far

Likes

Location is very accessible since it is located within the city.
Placement preparation and the available placement offers are great.
The Campus is small, and thus it is easy to travel in between blocks.

Dislikes

The emphasis on old practices like writing records, observations and maintaining handwritten notes can be irritating.
The acaedemic schedule can be very hectic.
Strict adherence to the old ways of teaching and conducting exams can be very exhausting.

Admission:

Applied to many colleges through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Counselling portal, but got placed here. The counselling admission process was pretty straightforward, cutoffs were high for my category but once selected, it was a very streamlined process for admission; can't complain.

More than a degree : Life, Learning and opportunities at EEC

Likes

The Professors at EEC are highly knowledgeable and approachable. Many just go beyond normal curriculum giving us real world insights and career guidance
There is a good balance between fun and academics with regular fests, clubs and events that encourage student participation
The placement cell is proactive offering training sessions , tie ups and mock ups with reputed companies. Final year students secure offers in final year and career guidance throughout

Dislikes

While the curriculum is solid, more guest lectures form industry experts could enhance practical learning futher
The core areas like classrooms and labs are good t\but the college could still use some Modern day touch
The college is academically sound , but adding more creative programs like entrepreneurship will be a great value add

Admission:

I chose EEC because it struck the right balance between academic quality, campus life, placement oportunitites and affordability. Among the ones i chose EEC stood out for its consistent reputation, structured curriculum and placements in top companies

Admission:

The fees structure was very decent and impressive and we students are able to drop courses as we wish and the flexible curriculum is what made me choose this college And their placement records are on point and excellent I am too grateful that i have joined this college
