My college life

Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Shekhawati University is one of the main colleges of Rajasthan. My main reason for choosing it was that its faculty was very good and all my brothers and sisters have studied from here and today they are working in very good fields. In this college, every student is given equal attention and it is a good environment to study here. In our college, different types of examinations were conducted from time to time and questions ranging from easy to difficult were asked in them. These examinations were conducted on the basis of main examination.

I study in Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Shekhawati University. My fees were 12500 and 500 admission fees and apart from that 1500 practical fees were charged which were taken equally from all students irrespective of their category. Being from scheduled caste category, I received my chhatravritti of 15000 which was given to me by Rajasthan Samaj Kalyan Board. Apart from this, various types of examinations were conducted from time to time in the college and prizes were also given in them.

In our college, annual festival was organized in the month of December in which various types of cultural presentations were given and for good performance they were also honored with awards. Along with this, sports competitions were also organized. Programs were organized in the college on 15th August and 26th January in which patriotism related presentations were given and sports competitions were also organized. Apart from this, many other types of small and big events were arranged in the college from time to time.

In our hostel, we used to be served tea and breakfast as soon as we woke up in the morning. Sometimes parathas were also given with the tea. Apart from that, lunch was served which consisted of dal, rice and roti. And in the evening meal, there were two kinds of vegetables and roti along with sweets. The quality of food was very good. No student had to face any kind of inconvenience. Eating felt like being at home. It did not feel like we were living in a hostel even though cleanliness was given full attention there.

I did not try any other college. I had applied for admission in this college for the first time and I got selected in the first attempt itself. To get admission in this college, one had to give an entrance exam in which after clearing it, we would get a seat in the college. I had cleared that exam easily, so I got selected in the first list itself.

In our college there were approximately 150 teachers for 1000 students I liked Yogesh ji sir who taught us history a lot because I still remember his teaching style, his way of teaching was very good Sunil ji sir who taught us geography, I did not like his way of speaking a bit because he was always angry In our college four monthly exams were conducted every month so that students could prepare well for the upcoming main exam, I always used to miss him in the exam I am at my first place

There was a very big library in our college where every student used to sit and study. Apart from this, there was no facility of any kind of gym or cafe in our college. There was a normal canteen in our college where we could have breakfast. Our hostel had nice and clean rooms. Good food was provided. Food was provided twice a day and breakfast was provided once a day and tea twice a day. The quality of food was also quite good.
