Course Curriculum Overview

5

* The comprehensive syllabus in fields like business administration and commerce, offering core subjects like management and finance, influence my decision to choose the course. * While the curriculum prepare students with foundational knowledge\, it doesn't focus much on practical skills, leaving gaps in real-world applications. *The curriculum could benefit from more practical components, such as case studies, industry visits. More interactive teaching mentods like webinars or live sessions would improve student engagemnet and understanding. * Exams are held twice in a year, typically at the end of each semester. The exams are of moderate difficulty, with some students finding it challenging due to the wide syllabus and need for self-descipline.

Fees and Financial Aid

1) Year-wise fees : Tuition fees : ?7100-9100 Admission Fees : ?500 Registration Fees : ?200 Other Charges ( Development, Caution, Lab Fees) : ?2800 Totalal ?10100-12100 * Second Year : Tution Fee : ?7000-8000 Other Charges : ?3000 Total : ?10000-11000 2) Fees for SC/ST Category : First Year : ?9800 ( Tuition fee waiver) Second Year : ?9500 ( Tuition fee waiver) 3) Fees for management category : Same as the general category 4) Scholarship and Financial Aid : Post- Matric Scholarship Merit -cum-means Scholarship Fee reimbursement for economically backward students SSP scholarship

Campus Life

5

* KSOU does not have large scale annual or technical festivals due to distance education model. * The library offers a good range of online books and journals accessible to students, Physical books are limited, but digital resources are sufficient fot most courses. * Since KSOU is a distancve education university, there are no classrooms. Learning is faciliated through online resources including recorded lecturers digital study materials. * There are no capmus based sports or extracurricular activities, as KSOU is focusses on online education. * KSOU does not have student run clubs or physical social groups. but there are online platforms for students discuss coursework and share knowledge.

Admission

* I didn't apply other colleges because I was looking for only distance education i didn't find other option which is near my location. I choose KSOU because it offered flexibelity with distance learning. Which allowed me to study at my own place. Other colleges had rigid schedules and higher fees than KSOU. * No I didn't get any rejection because I haven't applied other university or college. * Admission Process : Ksou admission process was smooth and simple, no complicated proceedures. Just go to the nearest KSOU regenal study center and they will help u regarding the same. *Eligiblity : KSOU requires a graduate degree for PG courses, and no entrance exams are needed for most courses. * Exams and cutoffs : There are no entance exams for most courses abd the cutoff is not struci. The admisiion is base on meeting the basic elegiblity criteria. *Overall Admission experience : The admission process was smooth and I found it easy by visiting nearest KSOU Center.

Faculty

5

* The faculty to student ratio is not so good in distance education and interactions are mainly online, making it less personal. Online classes are not conducting on regular basis so there is less interactions between faculties and students. *I like the professor Sukanya who was taking Financial accounts. The classes are effective comparing to other professors. All professors in Commerce are good and informative. * Some professors had less engagement and slower to respond. I don't like the limited involvement in teaching. * Exams : Exams will be conducted offline mode. It will be conducted in nearest center. 2 semester in one year course. Many students find the vast syllabus challenging without consistent preparation. Failure rate is low, But distance education demands high level of commitment and regular study.

Interview Experience

5

No discussion its a distance education so there is group discussion and all All the classes held on telegram group which they are created by the university batch wise. So any doubts regarding subject and course discussing in that particular group only.

Night Life

5

* There are no on campus gym or cafeterias due to the distance learning model. The library is most accecible online, and there are no set closing times for physical spaces. * KSOU does not have hostels or traditional campus facilities as it's primarily an online university * Students generally hangout in local cafes or public areas in their own cities, as KSOU not provide a campus environment. Locality safety depends on the city where students are located.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it includes subject that matched my intrested and career goal like accounting and taxation. The mix of theory and practical was very effective to do. The curriculum gives a good balance of knowledge and practical skills to prepare well for jobs. They need to use more interactive teaching method instead of only lecturing.
