An Honest College Review.

The College Course Curriculum is well-structured and is designed to keep the students engaged while they pursue it. It is designed to make them industry- ready when they graduate after completing their B.Tech. The college can definitely improve in terms upcong market needs Blockchain, Cyber Security, Data Science etc. The tests are conducted on Monthly Basis with their difficulty being moderate, keeping the students prepared for their University Exams.

The Internship opportunities are where the college can really improve itself. The students may not get a satisfactory internship. Most of the internships awarded are off campus. A small percentage of students manage to get on campus internships. And for the off-campus internships, you have to work really hard on your skills and work on good quality projects.

The Placements at RKGIT are satisfactory. It is based entirely on the individual's skills and pursuit. The students are elgible to sit for placements from the SIXTH semester onwards. Many notable companies visit the college liike TCS,WIPRO,COGNIZANT,HCL-TECH etc. The highest package of the college was 34,00,000/-. The average package is around 5,00,000. The percentage of students getting placed is around 75-80%.

I paid Rs.135000 for my first year in my B.Tech course. The fees from second year onwards will be 120000. The fees will be same for all categories considered. Fees for B.Tech(First Year) Tuiton Fees: Rs.104250 Registration Charges: Rs.2500 Accidental Group Insurance: Rs.250 Second Year Fee is Rs.120000 because our Book Bank Charges along with Security Charges is removed. The fees payable for the BBA course is Rs.82000. Similarly, the fees for B.Pharm is Rs.135000. The fees for BCA is 82000. Also, if the students score good marks in their University Exams (AKTU), they will be rewarded with a scholarship ranging between Rs.11000-52000.

There are various events held by the college clubs in which the students can take part. Societies like YANTRIKOM, BINARY CLUB, STHAPATYA organise various types of events. EVery year on Navratri, there is a "MATA KI CHOWKI", where various artists come and showcase their talents. Events like THROTTLE-X and SMART-SPRINT have been organised. All the library books and journals are easily accessible and they have to be returned after two weeks of their issuing. The classsrooms are well-lit and ventilated. All lectures are conducted via Smart Board which help the students to visualise concepts easily. The college has an Indoor Stadium, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, where the students can refine their skills.

The hostel rooms are spacious and Well-lit. I opted for three bedded room. There are two fans and respective cabinets for each resident. The room is also provided with three tables and beds. The Mess quality is satisfactory. The food is well cooked and varies according to the day of the week. All rooms are provided with a WIFI connection and speed is average. The registration for the hostel is done along with the admission. The rate of the hostel is relatively cheaper than other colleges.

I chose this college as I took part in the UPTAC Councelling, where I was alloted this college with my desired CSE degree. the infrastructure of the college is upto a standard. The Faculty Members are well qualified and have an excellent knowledge of their field. I was also allotted other colleges but I couldn't get the desired branch, which prompted me to go with this college. The admission process was fairly simple. On the day of Physical Reporting, the students should be prepared with the relevant documents required.

The faculty members of RKGIT are some of the best that i have seen. Each Faculty member is appropriately qualified. Most of them have completed their Doctorate, some of them have completed their M.Tech from some of the most prestigious IIT's. The Teachers are easily approachable and freindly to talk to. There are usually Three internal tests that are conducted namely-- Sessional Test(ST)1,ST2 and PUT(Pre-University Test).

The college has made provisions that the students are not allowed to leave the campus after 9P.M. However, the students can freely roam around the college campus. some students even opt to play in the courts in the night. There is also a study room which is accessible to students, should they opt to study. The Library closes around 5P.M. and Indoor Stadium around 8. The gym Opens Around 6A.M. There is also a cafeteria which open till 2A.M.
