Course Curriculum Overview

4

So this course is new upcoming futire of india..where mbbs seats are very less in india.and for those who cant afford mbbs ..can opt for bams course which is very much budgest friendly as well as much better then mbbs future of india as most person want the permanent treatments of their disease not the temporary solution ..the ayurvedic doctor provides the permanent solution to their disease and gives you the best results which can not be given by allopathic treatment. The bams curriculum is divided into three 3 year.where 1 programe years is 0f 18 month duration ..after 3 programme year there is 1 year internship which is divided into 3 month for primary health care ,3 month for civil hospital exposure and remaining 6 month for joint hospital or the college and on pur college you will be paid for international.current stipened for the student is 18500 which get increased once after every 3 years almost . In 1.5 programe years there are 9 periodical.2 semi exams and 1 University exam for each subject However the semi exams and final university exams are quite tough but everyone have to pass these exams in just one attempt

Internships Opportunities

4

The company who offers imternship is Dabur Baidyanath The kerala ayurved Yugandhar Dhutpapeshwar The govt of india has its own internship programme attached with this college 6month for college hospital 3 month for PHC 3 month for nashik civil Plus you are paid stipend 18500/month ..which is basic stipend and to be paid you by govt .

Placement Experience

4

For placement, you have to be in last year of the progam The company visited for the placements are :Dabur, Baidyanath, The kerala ayurved, dhutpapeshwar and so on. For placement one has 60%plus on its university exam My plan after a bams degree is to first get a good college for my pg course.then after i will set up my own clinic

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically bams ug course is for 5.5years which included 1 yr internship programme..and according to new pattern bams 5.5 yr is do oded in three program So for 1 programe fee 9s 50010. and extra 4400 ra for librabry seminar fee extra.the fees is same for all three program. the student from schedule category or any reserved category gets the benefots in fee so there fees is wayuch less than this 55510 fee. they get 75%lease in their fees.

Campus Life

4

The college organises is gathering once a years..which is joint organised by college and last year students..this gathering event is for 10 days which included sports competition for 4 days and 6 various fest like cultural night .feast night and so on Second college celebrates all the festival like basanch panchami, shivaji jayanti 5 days festive event for ganesh chaturthi and more 1 day dandiya night for navratri. The college also celebrated every natiomal da

Admission

First I got patil ayurved college in sangli but then i opt for better college.the patil ayurvedic college is semi govt or can say aided college. but rank 10 in top college for bams in Maharashtra.and the exposure is less for students as compared to ayurvedic college nashik. So as overall the ayurvedic college nashik .gets the bonus point here.. Second nashik is better city for me as compared to sangli aa i come from agra.so for me nashik is near Ayurvedic mahaavidyalaya nashik college is under top 5 college in maharastra. The teachers are very nice . Second most important os the civil hospital of nashik which is more crowded and gives you the ultimate experience of internship in civil hospital...nashik civil hospital is famous in all maharastra for its exposure . Last college hospital os.also much crowded still in better condition as compared to other college hospital .along with it patient gets the btter treatment here If you are from Maharashtra then you will get this college with 450+ in neet ug exam.. For all india quota students there marks should be 570+ for general category. For obc category marks should be 540+ For reserved category marks should he 500+ The students can get this college only through ayush counseling.thos is the only way through which you can get this college.. For all india quota only 15 seats are there for ug course For maharashtra students .they can get this college through state counselling For state 60 seats are there for ug bams course

Faculty

4

Okay so there is 3 teachers for each subject one is main hod of the subject .one is sub hod and one os assistant teacher..overall 1teacher is for 20 student .so the ratio is 1.20.which is quite good. The teachers are very experienced in theor own subject Still i do believe the teacher from anatomy department is now not much good as much before In first year .there is 9 periodical test for each subject .2 semi final exam s along with practicals..these are internal exams..and there is also final university exam which has to be passed to go into next year ..continiously falilure in 3 university exam makes you debarred from the whole ug course

Night Life

4

The cafeteria is nice and its food is quite nice and very affordable. There is girls hostel and its closing time is 9:30 pm. There is single occupancy room for pg residential Famous hangout places are godavari ghat .famous kalaram mandir of nashik .sitagifa Apl the famous trek points are near nashik like harihar fort ,brahmgiri trek, anjaneri trek, pahine waterfall, dugarwadi waterfall and many more , Nashik is famous for its favourable climatic conditions and for its vinyard.there is famous sula vinyards here .

As an ambition of becoming a doctor and serving society, I opted for this course. faculty to student ratio is quite high with more than 6 professors per subject and about 10 for each department. qualification of faculty is minimum MD in the respective subject. timely exams are taken but if you study regularly no worries about getting passed with good marks.
