My Dream college

The course and curriculum of college is par at best . It is perfectly designed so that student can be a perfect dentist. The carvings, postings, theory part of the curriculum is most suited for the student.

The college provides 6 months of internship after completion of final year of course. There are bonded professor which work for a year in the college. The internship providee great opportunities for the medicos to learn and inculcate best at their profession.

Government Dental college and hospital, Aurangabad fees is yearly 1,15,000 ruppess per year which excludes hostel fees which is 4000 ruppess per year . There are scholarship on basis of reservation which waves off the tution fess of college and student has to pay 11500 ruppess as fee .

The campus life in government dental college and aurangabad is very nice and subtle. There are days celebrated on every department where the college gives its 100 percentage to create awarness about every department and its uses to students. Other than this there are seminars conducted time to time to create awarness about the clinical anatomy of dental departments . The college also participates in intercollege sports events and other events held regularly. There are fests and graduation conducted of freshers and convocation for passing batch.

Hostel is government hostel which accomodates first year to pg students. The accomodation per room is 3 persons which provides a bed, table, chair and cupboard per person . A fan, two tubelights and proper ventilation is provided to each room. There are 4 floors present which consists of water cooler and filter on each floor, clean corridors, and clean washrooms. There is spacious guest room present where gaurdians of students can wait and freshen up. There are security gaurd present at the gate of hostel and note on hostel register is taken of each person going in and out of hostel. The admission process for hostel is done during admission process where by filling the hostel accomodation form we can avail hostel facilities.

I personally chose this college for my dental course because i was well aware of the facilites and opportunites the college provides for the students . There is high scope for excellence in government dental college and hospital, aurangabad. To get admited to dental course we first have to clear neet examination with the cut off marks. After the clearance of examination we go through counselling process which gives us opportunity to choose this college.

The faculties of dental college and hospital, aurangabad is very supportive and sociable. There are total of nine departments present in the college with respective hod of each department. The teacher i liked the most till now is professor of oral pathology and microbiology department vaishali mam. I found her as one of the most supportive professor . The other professor i admire the most is Rajan Mahindra sir from orthodontist department. His life seems so motivational to me. The exam pattern of college is very precise which consists of two internal assignment one prelimenary examination and the university examination at the end of the year. There are theory as well as practical exams.

The nightlife of the college is not so interesting as there are restrictions to intime for college. The locality of the college is relatively safe. There are cafeterias where we can hangout after the lectures. The intime for college is 9 pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends
