- Some of the restrictions also make student iriitated
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate 8.5 of if 10 for core subjects like problem solving, OOPS, DSA and every subject related to technical but others subjects will be somewhat boring. There are no specific aspects to choose particular course. But it depends on your interest, like I chose Cyber Security because of interest that's it. This curriculum prepares you around 50 percent that's it everything else depends on you, whatever they say or at what level they say you should develop from your side.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers internship opportunities in various fields through tie-ups with companies. Some of the key recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, and Accenture for IT and management roles. Manufacturing companies like Tata Motors and L&T offer engineering internships. Roles include software developer intern, data analyst, marketing intern, and mechanical design intern. Stipends vary from ?5,000 to ?20,000 per month. Projects involve developing web applications, analyzing business data, marketing campaigns, and product design. Outcomes include hands-on experience, industry exposure, and potential job offers.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are good, even internships recruitment will aslo there. From third year and second semester students are eligible for Placements. The are many companies like accenture, cognizant, adobe, IBM, Ericsson and more. As per now there is a talk of 50LPA is highest but we saw is 24 LPA and average is about 12LPA. For me plans after graduate is like first to get into a job, then with interest and experience start a hustle
Fees and Financial Aid
like for tution fees there will fee slabs based on the rank we get in VITEEE. those will like starting from 198000, 307000, 405000, 448000 and 493000 these will be same for years and at the time joining they will collect 3000 as admission fee or something. There will be no extra charges for anything except paying for you backlog exams. Regarding scholarships I'm not awarre of those very well. there mostly people under category 1 2 and 3 other than that mostly rare.
Campus Life
Life at VIT-AP is filled with excitement, learning, and fun. The campus is always active with festivals, clubs, sports, and events that keep students engaged. The biggest festival, VITopia, is the cultural and sports fest held in February, bringing students together for music, dance, drama, and competitions. V-TAPP, the technical fest, is for those passionate about coding and innovation. The library is peaceful and packed with books, journals, and digital resources. It is fully air-conditioned, has CCTV cameras, and a modern book-issuing system, making it easy for students to borrow and return books. There are also video lectures and online study materials that help with learning. Classrooms at VIT-AP are spacious and well-equipped with projectors and whiteboards, making lessons more engaging. The university promotes practical learning, so students gain hands-on experience in addition to theory. Sports and extracurricular activities are a big part of campus life. The university has courts for basketball, badminton, football, and cricket, along with indoor games like table tennis and chess. Various tournaments and events keep students active and competitive. There are many student-run clubs at VIT-AP, covering interests like music, dance, photography, robotics, and literature. These clubs organize competitions, workshops, and activities throughout the year, helping students develop leadership and teamwork skills while making friends. The university also has student portals and digital platforms that provide updates on campus news, events, and academic schedules, keeping everyone connected.
Hostel Facilities
The room has a bed, table, chair, fan, and cupboard. Wi-Fi is available, bathrooms are sepaerate which are really clean compared to others with hot water. The food is decent, with a mix of veg and non-veg options. The menu changes daily, but repetitive weekly. The hostel registration is like for first you can only select type of room you want like number of sharing beds and AC or Non AC and will be alloted by management, but from second year if you have a good gpa you can select room you want with the roommates you want. Even though it costly but staying in the hostel is the best option I prefer to. If renting a PG, it depends on the locality. Mine is in a safe area with markets and transport nearby. The rent is reasonable, but extra charges apply for electricity and food.
Admission
There some good colleges which I wanted to go but, I didn't get enough score in those particular exams. In the collages which are available to me to get into VIT-AP will the best choice in many perspectives other colleges are out of date curriculam, infrastructures, placements and many more. One more thing I felt Is like it would be Better if we stay a bit longer from our home to focus on studies and that is really helping a lot even though missing home, but that will be worthy. The reason that I couldn't make it to other colleges is because if poor preparation for exams in class 11 and class 12 due to pandemic and poor coaching in those classes. Admission process for this college is like first thing is VITEEE conducted by the university, then depending on your rank the will be five levels counseling, there you can choose your college and course like VIT vellore, Chennai, AP and bhopal. Specialisation like CSE, mechanical, ECE, CSBS and more the are really many course to opt. I got around 30K I had a chance in second counseling then I got into VIT-AP. Thereafter you should pay admission, tuition and hostel fees that's you are into VIT. I applied for amritha, karnataka entrance exam, JEE and other, as mentioned I didn't get good did in those.
Faculty
Faculty here are really worthy, but the are also exceptional and those exceptional Faculty will be more compared to worthy. But getting a good Faculty is in your hands especially if you want to get into incubation centre you should be very fast and worthy then you will get a good knowledge as well as good mentors. For first semester Faculty will given by management there after you should choose the Faculty, it will like first come first serve you should very fast while counseling. Then there will be the exams Cat 1 and Cat 2 then lab exams and semester exams(Fat). Total of 160 credits you should earn by end of you graduation mostly you will 22 credits per semester it may be changed. Marking system will be like for grade every exam is included with some percentage and three will some quizzes or assignments will be given by fairly l Faculty those marks will be added directly. For passing a subject you should get 40 of 100 in semester exam. Faculty to student ratio is really huge but three mentors for every particular number of students nearly 30 or less. There are some core Faculty they are really best like the knowledge they provide and the way support us really good. The relationship between Faculty and student will be really good it mostly depends on student. Difficulty of exams will be like moderate mostly but some times it may be really hard. Maybe 5 out 70 maybe failed and it mostly depends on paper difficulty and Faculty. Relevant of course with curriculam will around 75 percent.
Night Life
Nightlife in VIT is bad they won't allow you to go any where outside the hostel after 8:30 pm, it will be very restricted. In college there are two types of gym one paid one which is only one in whole college and other is free gym which is available in every respective hostel separately. There are many places to eat rock plaza, good street , normal pretty shops. The library is peaceful and packed with books, journals, and digital resources. It is fully air-conditioned, has CCTV cameras, and a modern book-issuing system, making it easy for students to borrow and return books. There are also video lectures and online study materials that help with learning. There are no specific in timings for this who are coming from out. The locality is very safe every time. There lot of security guards everywhere and it totally under CC TV coverage
