Good college for homoeopathy studies

The aspect of BHMS curriculum is mainly providing students with a comprehensive understanding of both conventional medical sciences and homeopathic principles to practice holistic patient care. And the thing that influenced me to choose this course is that BHMS practitioners typically do not perform surgical procedures and is absolutely safe for the patients with almost nil side effects. They focus on curing the patient rather than only treating them.

After 4 and half year of studies, 1 year internship is compulsory. The duration of the BHMS course is typically five and a half years, which includes a one-year compulsory internship. Overall, placements in our college are average. The campus is good. There is nothing like a higher or lower salary package here. Companies do not visit our college for placements. Students practice on their own to get placement. In our course, our college provides good placements for the students for their bright future.

The Institute has its own comprehensive library with many books exclusively for its students and faculty. These books serve as a rich source of knowledge and build a positive interest in studies.Library is equipped with multimedia computers with internet facility. Reprographic & printing facility is also available in the library. Cultural activities, Quiz Competitions, model making, chart making, declamation, debates etc are held periodically to bring out the hidden talents of the students.Students also participate actively in various medical camps organised for the patients from time to time.

I chose this college firstly because of the location. It is situated in the valleys of solan, Himachal Pradesh. The weather here is very nice and a little cold for most of the months. The place is very affordable. Admissions is made through online counseling conducted by Atal Medical & Research University, Nerchowk, Mandi, H.P. NEET UG of current session qualified candidates. NEET General category candidates scoring 35 percentile (112 marks) & SC/ST/OBC scoring 25 percentile (87 marks) can also apply.

Faculty-to-student ratio is 3:6. Faculty is very nice, friendly, approachable and very helpful. The faculty I like the most is the homoeopathic materia medica department. Teachers are very nice and very interactive.There are no faculty that I didn't like. Everyone is very nice. Every 6 months semesters are held and finals at the end of year. Exams are a little difficult but necessary for our improvement.

There is no college gym but there is a cafeteria where food is made and also hygiene is maintained. The libraryhas many books related to the course and is equipped with multimedia computers with internet facility. There is restricted timing for outing for the students in hostel. We can go to the city by local transportation such as bus. Campus and hostel is very safe and only restricted to roam in the campus.
