Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course curriculum for bcom plane is not upto the mark . Like it just provides you with the degree and no other extra knowledge. Real world application is also limited to an extent . Overall the course curriculum needs to be improved to provide better exposure to students. The exams held are not so difficult . One can pass easily.

Internships Opportunities

1

Internships are offered in my college but they are not so good as much as I know and internships are not offered for every course cause the they are under development so if you want to come here for internship so this is a big no from my side you should not come here for internship as you will not get what you are desiring for.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am in government modal science college which is affiliated to Awadhesh pratap singh university (APSU) . The fees for b.com plain for girls is 5586 rupees. But as i scored 94.2 percentage in my 12th CBSE boards so i am considered as medhavi student so my fees is 10 rupees. For boys the fees is 5694.

Campus Life

3

As such there was no annual fest this year in my college. The library's infrastructure needs to be developed a little bit. Also i mentioned before that classrooms need to be renovated. Sports activities are quite nice. Social groups are there but there is no as such a huge event or something .

Admission

I gave CUET exam and through that I got into delhi university but due to some family problems I was not able to make it there so i changed my decision to take admission in that college. After that i applied through online portal of admission in this university , where i filled 3 - 4 choices of college under this university and on the basis of my 12th percentage i got admission into Modal Science College. After that i just had to pay admission fees and submit documents .

Faculty

3

So most faculties are helping in nature but there is always exception. Some are rude too. In bcom plane there are 3 CCE tests that are conducted and one final exam . The course structure is yearly not semester wise. The faculty quality could be improved a little bit as some of them dont pay much attention to students.

Night Life

3

There is no gym in my college but there is a canteen in my college that offers okay food and the other facilities are not as such provided hostel is also not there in the college campus like if you want to take hostel you can take outside that would be better option because there is no in campus hostel and the timings are from morning 8:00 a.m. till 4 to 5 p.m. depending up on your class timings and there are few places of hanging out like Atal Park Vivekananda Park and some lakes also which you can explore.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.}

Due to family issues i didn't opt for this university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects are all theoretical, don't expect practical knowledge, syllabus for many subjects is very extensive and Faculty wont even complete the syllabus. You need to study most of things on your own. They would bombard you with 3 tests for internal assessment for each subject and sometimes they take it as suprise test and sometimes even test for 2 subjects might clash on the same day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In 10th i got good percentage , but was not intereted that much in science , so i took up Commerce + Maths , then passed my 12th standard with 93% and i realized my decision was good. Then after 12th i had to do graduation so i choose B.com + Hon. As this seemed me the best option rather that BBA or any other. On an average , in my college , there were 40 - 50 students in each batch. There were different teachers for different subjects. There was not much mess and the teachers were enough to handle and teach all the students . Teachers in government colleges have years of experience , thats the reason many people get into these colleges , in my college too teachers were qualified and were ready to clear any doubt . We were having 2 semesters in the year , half - half course in both , these papers arent too difficult to pass if there was a proper study. I dont found these papers much difficult.
