Course Curriculum Overview
I'm on my end term exam, for the first term and the subjects we've studied are Modern History, Industrial Readiness ( Reading newspaper and all ), Enrichment Course (basically how to make a ppt, we had to go through this for straight 5 + 5 hours), English, Great Books (Gullier's Travel) (Like we failed in IPMAT) and the actual subjects - Maths and Micro Economics. This is pretty strong point, as a parent you might feel this is good and ya to a extent this is but when assignments get in they way it gets messed up and stressful.
Placement Experience
The placement is pretty good, that's a big reason students join Nirma and now since they've shifted to IPMAT it is believed that We'll get better packages than CAT - MBA.
College Events
Events start just after the fresher's and the college is full of events. You'll start by small events by smaller clubs then events by committees and then there are events from other branches, events for all branches, events from management then comes a combined event of all clubs and committees.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total Fees for Integrated about 17 Lakh for just the programme. BBA ( 3yrs ) - 2,03,000. MBA ( 2yrs ) - 5,46,000. Average fee for PG (in GGC) - 1,30,000. This generally includes Breakfast, Dinner and Pickup n drop and then other expenses round off to 2k/month the other expenses include lunch and snacks in the college, photocopy and printing.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't applied for any education loan but there are scholarships available for this program. Scholarship is good.
Campus Life
Amazing lovely campus. We have 3 canteens. My rating for college life - 4.5/5. The gender ratio in management is pretty good. Diversity - like 40% are Locals, 30% are from either Surat or Varodra rest are from other cities. Events - 5/5.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students, the good part of Nirma, this might be Sympathy or Compassion but rarely any Nirmite will deny you any kind help. Feel free to contact me through email for a real review, I will take my time to explain every aspect that I could not hear.
Admission
I got admission in this college with the IPMAT test, I got 93/400 and the cut-off was 68/100 for BBA-MBA Integrated. I didn't want to get into this college, actually, this was my last option.
Faculty
Pretty amazing, they are the best in what they do, Pretty generous, Understandable and Caring faculty. It simply goes like if you keep them happy, you get happier but if you mess with then your future is messed. They can get a little strict at moments but they love you like their own children.
