Course Curriculum Overview

5

I had arts subject in 12th so I got BA, I had to choose BA and I have progressed a lot in the field, I can also get master's degree in this course. Another main objective of mine in going into this field was that I had to give IAS exam for which it was very important for me to study history and geography so I did it and got good marks. The exam level of our college was easy and moderate but I did not find it so difficult because I was very good at studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college fee was Rs 18000 tuition fee, Rs 500 for admission and Rs 2000 for practical. Being a reserve category, I used to get scholarship which made it very easy for me to submit my fees. We had to pay Rs 18,000 per year as tuition fees and if there was a separate program in the college, we had to save some money for that.

Campus Life

5

Overall the experience of my college life was very good as it helped me a lot in developing my personality and I became aware about various kinds of things from time to time while getting motivation in college. All the classrooms in our college are very clean and digital. There is also a lab in our college and there is also a library in our college in which all the students can study. An annual festival was organized in the college in which all the students participated enthusiastically and received awards.

Admission

My main objective of choosing this college was that among all the colleges in Rajasthan, this is a good college which is not very far from my house so it was easy for me to come and go because I went to college every day. The basis of admission in our college is the marks obtained in 12th but because of my good marks in 12th, I got shortlisted in the first list. Various types of examinations were conducted from time to time in the college, which greatly benefited the students in the main examination.

Faculty

The number of teachers in our college was around 50, out of which the number of teachers who taught us was 10.All the teachers were very nice and intelligent, they always helped us in learning. Sanjiv Mishra I liked the one who taught us history very much because I liked his way of teaching very much. He gave us a way of telling the story which made it easy for all the students to understand. Mukesh ji sir used to get a little angry but gradually we got used to it. Weekly tests were conducted so that students could evaluate themselves and their difficulty level was moderate.

Night Life

5

A canteen was made inside our college where tea, biscuits and snacks were made available to the group. It remained open from 9:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the evening. As the college closed, it also closed. There was a very big playground in the college, inside which a basketball court and a volleyball court were made and separate arrangements were also made for some girls to play badminton. Any type of gym or club arrangement was not available in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum overall offers a balanced mix of theoretical foundations and practical exposure, making it fairly relevant for students aiming to build strong academic knowledge while preparing for real-world scenarios. Below is a detailed breakdown based on various aspects of the curriculum plus Exams are generally conducted at regular intervals, which helps students stay consistent with their studies. The timing of assessments—spanning internal tests, mid-sems, and final exams—ensures that students are evaluated both continuously and comprehensively. However, sometimes exams may feel closely spaced, which can cause stress. A slightly more balanced schedule between consecutive assessments would be helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chose BA Film & TV at Amity Jaipur because the mix of cinematography, editing, script and production felt aligned with film practice. Curriculum is decent for basics and portfolios, but could go deeper into indie/web work. Two exams a sem + internals; tough but fair if you stay consistent.

For Humanities it's compassion and because that has been my core, I chose this subject. There are various other specialization but I chose this and now since I have finished my course, I feel I did the best. One improvement I want is to get some assistance in finding jobs as that is one grey point or weak area about our college.
