KIET college review

The curriculum which is followed by JNTU is also followed here. Exams are really difficult here, especially when affiliated to JNTU. The questions in the exam and what they teach in classes are different. Teaching can be more knowledgeable.

The actual tuition per year is 1,20,000 rupees. However I availed the benefits of being OBC student. If students write APEAPCET and chose this college in the APEAPCET counselling then the fee is 60k per year. There is no admission or caution or registration fee.

There are nearly 3 cultural fests conducted in a year. However technical fests and hackathons happen frequently. Library is vast with good availability of books. People here give importance to sports and games.

It is more like a dorm separated by walls. There are common washrooms. For boys there is no laundry service in the hostel. Mess food is not very good. There are 4 beds and 4 shelves in a room. There are no study tables.

My APEAPCET rank is 1.2Lakh around which is why I didn't qualify for other colleges I opted for like Aditya Engineering College. The admission process is simple. Register for AP EAPCET counselling if you have written APEAPCET exam , if your rank is under the cutoff then you are eligible.

For freshers, there is no faculty. I mean senior students teach us things which is good for some point. But the practical knowledge which can be gained from experienced teachers as a fresher is less. These senior students teach what they know. There are 4 mid exams and 2 sem exams every year. As our college is affiliated to JNTU, the curriculum followed is same and question papers are same.

The rules are strict here. There is no night life in this college. From 8 to 10:30 study hours are conducted in classes Students are not allowed to roam here and there. After study hours you should go to hostel rooms.
