Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is good but the classes are not going upto the mark. The curriculum aims to prepare us for the future opportunities but it was not good for the Placement to achieve. The skill enhancement courses should be taught very nicely and clearly. So that we can achieve placements. The exmas are very fast there wouldn't be enough time for us to prepare for the other courses.

Placement Experience

2

In our college the placements are good but not upto the mark. They are collecting the CRT fees but not telling the classes nicely and bestly. Some companies visites for campus drive are Accenture, NXP India, Infosys, DarwinBox, TCS, TATA, TechMahindra etc. The highest package of our branch is 12 Lakhs per annum this year. It should have to be increased. The percentage of studenst placing is about 60%. My plan is to get a job in a good company in Hyderabad or Amaravati or Chennai or Banglore or Mumbai or Pune or Nagpur or Coimbatore. I like to be a good Software Engineer or an ML Engineer. Or else i would plan to do Masters in amy of the private universities like VIT, SRM, AMRITA or any National Level private universities. I require more number of students to be placed from our college. Our neighbouring college SRKR has given nearly 90% to 95% placement opportunity to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly college course fees is 66,000 and i have fees Reimbursement. my yearly hostel fees is 1,03,000. Our CRT(Campus Recruitment Training) fees is 12,000 per year. My hostel fees was increasing 10,000 from year to year. There would not be any other meritorious scholarships provided to the students. Our college course fees was also increasing year to year. This year it was 1,03,000.

Campus Life

4

The annual and technical events are very nice in the college. There will be a total of 5 to 8 events excluding Hackathons in our college. The library is very good with having all the required books and journals. The facilities are good but the college should provide the Skill based learning courses. The sports are also very good with a big ground and big Indoor sports Complex. In that we can play Badminton and shooting is also be taught. There will be clubs and Student run groups which make it better to develop leadership in the students. The food facilities also good.

Hostel Facilities

3

In the college provided hostels there will be seperate cupboards and Seperate beds and Attached washroom. With enough ventilation and fans and lights. Meals are good but not upto the mark during sometimes. The Dal and tiffin like paratha etc are not nice. The free wifi will be provided upto 2 GB with minium amount of speed.

Admission

Firstly i had got seat in GMRIT in Rajam through APEAPCET 1st councilling. I have got into this college through APEAPCET previously EAMCET i got 12 Thousand rank. I got AI&ML branch. The main exam to secure admission in this college is APEAPCET. We must get below 15 Thousand or below 25 Thousand rank to get seat into CSE and CSE Allied branches for OC and OBC students.

Faculty

3

Our overall faculty is good but for our AI&ML branch the faculty is not upto the mark. The classes are not going smoothly. The classes must be there with nice schedule and the classes should be conducted clearly and exactly. About our college exams: In our college the exams are easy as the Question papers will be some what easy in the 1st year and from 2nd year the question papers will be tough. So it will be difficult for the students to clear the exams and to get high CGPA like in 9 and above 9. So i suggest to get 9+ CGPA in the 1st year of the college only. Some faculty will be nice. Maximum of the amount branches like CSE, IT, CIVIL, MECHANICAL, AIDS, ECE. There is R&D cell also the R&D Dean head of the college is very good. There will be 2 internal exams and 1 end semester exams. There will be one Lab Internal Exam and 1 Lab External exam.

Night Life

4

The night life is also good. The library will be available upto 10 PM and the Night cafeteria will be available upto 11:30 PM. The Wending machines are also available in our college. The GYM is also good with enough equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
