Essence of Knowledge and Discipline.

Good college and no complaints regarding the teaching is concerned. Discipline is maintained which is a plus point. Security of students is also optimum. Facilities are ample and atmosphere is made for learning. Placements are great. You are made to perfect yourself. All life skills are taught. Best experience and memorable indeed.

The course curriculum is designed according to the Pune University. It is well planned and taught in the college. Teachers are well experienced to deal with changes in the curriculum. The faculty breaks down the course in a manner that is easy to inculcate by the students.

The college does provide internships. Internship was good, learned a lot. Companies are great so knowledge is more and useful. The Stipend varies company wise in range of 3k-15k. Bachelor's degree students get range of stipend upto 8k.

The placement is according to department. The students are sent to companies for interview and if the students deserve the chance then they get the job. The recruiters are huge companies in the respective fields. For example in biotechnology , all leading companies are considered such as ArrayGen Technologies Pvt Ltd, BioEra Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd.etc.

All religious festivals were celebrated successfully. Diwali, Christmas, Pateti , Eid , Holi , Guru Nanak Jayanti , Buddha Poornima, etc Special guest lectures on Environment conservation, Inspirational speeces by IAS officers, sports persons and social workers were conducted. Various extra beneficial courses were also conducted.

The fee structure is feasible. The reserved castes get scholarship. The process of getting scholarship is easy to follow. The fees is moderate and affordable for middle class and even the bpl candidates. Biotechnology Third Year fee was around 50K for open category student. Hostel fees are separate and it is also feasible. The reservation students can get Admitted in less fee + scholarship.

The scholarship is based on either your marks or by your caste. Government scholarship for caste reservation is common scholarship. There is no loan facility provided as such for students. Rajashri Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj Tution Fee Scholarship , RSMS Sholarship For 11th & 12th Students , VJNT , SC, ST, SBC & OBC Scholarship & Freeship etc are some of the known scholarships which are very useful.

Sports is supported and encouraged by every department. There is volleyball net, football posts , cricket gear , other games available. Active participation is seen by each departments and competitions are also held. Laboratories are well equipped with latest version of gears, and tools. Each department has its fest in which study models , entertainment, food beverages are prepared and enjoyment is done.

The hostel is good but not great. The infrastructure is designed in such a way ,that the students get all the basic requirements. Hostel is inside the campus. Mess is also inside the campus only 100-200 meter away from your departments and hostel. Security is optimum. If you don't like hostel then various PG s are also available nearby the college.

The senior students visit the departments frequently and are on high posts in the field. They guide us with their experiences and help us solve friendly issues too. They inculcate the values of the college and are proud to be a part of Garware College.

Semester pattern according to prescribed rules of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Semester pattern is followed. In biotechnology, Pune University, the First year is having annual exam then in second year two semesters and again two semesters in third year. So total 4 semesters. As the first year exam is conducted by college itself.

I got Admission via personal interview. I had visited the biotechnology department for Admission in Second year bsc.biotechnology. You have to fill the Admission form on the college website i.e. http:www.mesgarwarecollege.org then take the print out of the same and visit the respective department. Then either on merit or by interview you will get admitted or rejected Accordingly. I had to face interview. After selection, I paid the fees in office and the procedure is easy.The people in office help with almost everything. They are polite.

The faculty of Garware College is Polite,Well behaved, experienced , friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, inspirational. They help us students with each aspect of Life. The faculty is just "Great". Well trained to Handel critical situations and very generous.
