Likes

Staff. Teachers were kind and polite. Everyone was helpful
Canteen had tasty food. And it was pretty affordable too.
Library was huge. It had all thebooks you would need to pass the course

Dislikes

Exam schedules were very strenuous. Apartb from that it was good
No placement cell was very disappoitning. But msc atudenttts were helpful
No conncetions were provided for intenships. One has to rely on themselves for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was pretty relevant. Though some parts were not covered until the very end but still. I wish it has more of bioinformatics as it is a growing field.apart from this the labwork was also relevnat and necessary to understand the basics

Fees and Financial Aid

10k was the approximate fees. Scholarships were provided and financial aid too Admission fees included lab fees as well. Industrial microbiology has different fees structure than general microbiology.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. You can also join ncc nss etc. The y have a big field for sports. Fests are arrange at every year. Blood banks visits are made. Facotry vistits. Agricultral visits. Seminars are conducted by alumnae. Guest lecs are held

Admission

The micobiology department of this college is considered to be pretty good and it turned out that way as well. Execpt for some new faculty everyone there is pretty experienced. The labs were well equipped and this dept even has its own library

Faculty

The faculty memebers were pretty experienced and kind and helpful. They were all emotinally supporive as wwell. Even before the exams faculty made sure to cover everything in detail was proved to be a blessing during exams

Night Life

There is deccan gymkhana. I dont have much idea about the night life. The street next to our college has a wide varitey of food options. A nearby theatre is also avaliable. SPPU univeristy is also just 20 minuts away

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

The college have the placements and the Head of the department of these college have the good contacts also. In these college campus is well active and have good reputation in pune. For taking the admission in these college you required to give the entrance exam and then on basis of entrance exam they selects the candidates. Also they hold the table rounds.
