I personally like genetic engineering .This subject covers vast streams like bioprocess technology,food technology,micro and molecular biology,Genomics and proteomics,rDna technology,Chemical Engineering and all real life used topics like this.Areas of improvement could be more interesting teaching and wandering deep into the subject.

Like any other college ,the placements will be offered from 4th year(7th sem). The recent company which visited our college was Accenture. The minimum package offered was 3 LPA and average package is 4.5 or 5 LPA.I personally won't take package as i wanted to study further after btech.

Iam paying 70000 for whole year which can be also paid sem wise ,35k per each sem. I got concession due to my 12th marks but normal fees for biotech stream includes 90k.The whole bus expenses for an year include 40k.Registration and admission fees include 10k which gets later deducted from our fees when we join there .Other than this,no extra fees is being collected except for sem exam fees which includes 500/- for a subject .The over all fees structure is very very affordable in this college.

Recent fest conducted by our department was BIOfest 2024 ,and a conference which lasted for 3 days program where we could present our research things , a normal paper presentation and some fun games at the end of day.other college students also participated in this.Our college also has NCC .

I applied for SRM ,Anna university, Bharath institute of Higher education and research.I couldn't go into SRM as the applications already got over. I have studied pure science in 12th and Anna university wanted only bio math group people to give admissions for genetic engineering.But Bharath college gave me the admission without any entrance exams also by seeing my 12th good grades .

The faculty present here are mostly phd scholars and eligible professors.The teachers are friendly to all the students and support well.They are very approachable.In my department,there are 20 teachers and total students are 200. For every sem,they conduct 3 exams before the finals and then there are sem exams . The class tests marks are added to fina exam marks too.The tests will be easy and nobody mostly fail.If they fail,they conduct re test to them.

Our College has 3 hostels inside it. They are Ganga and kaveri for girls and Godavari for boys.The students are allowed to celebrate at new year and Christmas,Holi sometimes . The night life is secured one as college is situated in a residential area.Many hangout places like small super Markets,tea time, parks are available.Hostelers are allowed for outing till 5 pm and later there will be checking inside the hostel for attendance.The hostel after 5 is strict and they will be not allowing for outing on Sundays or holidays.If they really wanted to,they can take permission from the parents and make the authorities talk to them for letting them out .
