Remarks

I would say the college infrastructure, facilities, library and knowledgeable staffs are its strength. The library is a state of the art and one of the key attraction to any visitor or student itself. It is well packed with all the important books and students cam take home to study at their wish. The only scope of improvement which I would say at my time were the junior teaching staffs who can be a bit more competent in terms of communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course was well organized and sorted. Its was a Full time 4 years course. The first year was common fir all branches. Then we get divided according to our course selection. You would be given a chance to switch to another course after your first year. The criteria for which is good score in the first year and may be you'll be charged some fees for the switch.

Internships Opportunities

The college was not providing any internship opportunities at that time. We have to enroll ourselves for internships outside. The college would provide us with their recommendation letter that we produce in front of the firm giving us the internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

3

The placements were not so good for the academic year 2014-15. Especially for the Mechanical department. However students in Computer or IT branches got good placements as a good number of companies came for them. The placements percentage was good for Computer and IT Engineering dept in 2015. Mechanical Engineering placement percentage was very low.

College Events

3.5

There a list of events that happens throughout the year. There's a annual function which is celebrated with great grandeur once in a year. There's techfest happening one or two times in a year in which students from different colleges come and participate in the events. Every individual department organizes their own competition and events during the Techfest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is affordable for a middle class family. There's facility available for students belonging to certain caste and creed. There's also provision for Economically Backward students who irrespective of their caste can apply for the EBC scheme in which their fees would get half.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Economically Backward student can easily apply for half fees waiver under the EBC scheme. Other scholarships are available for students falling under certain caste. There are a number of loan facilities available from well known banks. Student and parents can directly approach any bank for the same.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a number of activities that happens year round. You need to keep in touch with the respective departments for being updated about the same. There are sports tournaments that happens and its really good.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel was actually a residential colony turned or rent out to be a college hostel. The rooms were decent and well lit. There was facility for hot water and food services. The students staying in hostel can avail benefit of free breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner. The afternoon lunch was served free of cost to hostelites in the college canteen itself. Moreover the hostelites are also given a glass of milk at night every day.

Alumni/Alumna

There's an alumni network that is build and maintained by the college itself. The senior students are always in touch with the staffs and they provide valuable insight to the outside world. Seminars and training sessions are usually conducted with the help of senior students who try to inculcate confidence and determination to their fellow juniors.

Exam Structure

The total course is divided into 8 semesters. Each year we have to give 2 semesters. Every semester consist of a total of 5 subjects excluding Practicals and Viva which differs every semester. But on an average, one can assume 2 vivas and 1 practical in every semester. In Pune University you can be promoted to next academic year with 3 KTs. One more KT and you'll have to lose a year.

Admission

I had applied through Common Admission Process in which we have to give the college names based on our preference. I got this college in the first round itself and with the help of my AIEEE score. You could apply with both your AIEEE as well as CET score that time. The better score would be given preference.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties possess sound of the subject they impart knowledge upon. One thing I would say worth mentioning is that most of the faculty comes from local areas. So students who are not native to Maharashtra or who doesn't know marathi may find some hard time coping with their lecturers. Because at my time, some faculties were not able to speak English properly. Their Hindi was also intermediate. So students coming from south india found it difficult to understand the lectures.
