Course Curriculum Overview

4

My curriculum (CSBS) offers a blend of computer science in the stream of business which is quite useful for me. It helps me to learn the basics of computing, programming languages, DBMS along with the business subjects like Economics, management, marketing, etc., The frequency of exams are not very high and hence makes it easier for the students.

Placement Experience

3

We're eligible for placement from the 6th semester. TCS, HCL, Airtel, CTS, Wipro are some common names for the placements. TCS recruit a lot from here. The highest package is close to 50LPA and average package is around 6-8LPA. Around 70% of the students get placed. My plans are to do higher studies after the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees are 250000 and the book fees are 15000 per year. Admission fees are 15000. There are some scholarships available for students that perform well in the SRM JEE. Also there are some seats available for students who join in the last moment. It may cost upto 350000

Campus Life

2

Texus is the annual cultural event here. There are various technical events organised by the departments here. There are various journals and books accessible to the students in the library. Most of the classrooms contain a projector for the students There isnt much scope for sports here when compared to the other campuses of the institution. There are various technical and non technical clubs present for the students to join and enhance their experience.

Admission

I applied to VIT chennai, Amrita Vidyapeetham, SNU Chennai. I got a confirmed seat in Amrita and SSN.However I avoided them because of the distance from the house and lack of connectivity. I got rejected in VIT Chennai because of my poor scores in VIT entrance. It was quite tough. Admission process for my college is simple. Can directly go to the college and reserve a seat during Feb-June. Or enter through SRMJEE which is very easy. The overall admission experience was seamless.

Faculty

4

The staffs are very much approachable for the students and they help you when in need. They dont pressurize the students much and provide a smooth learning experience. There are 3 internal exams, a surprise test and several assignments before the end semester. They are very easy to clear and the probability of failing them is very less. Only 2-3 out of 60 students get an arrear

Interview Experience

5

There was no discussion for the admission as it was through entrance exam. I prepared for the entrance by studying maths, aptitude and english. It was very easy and simple to crack it when compared to other entrances.

Night Life

2

There are few gyms around the campus. Various cafes like fuel, qbite, agnikai present around. Also there is a public park accessible. Hostel timing is till 8-8.30pm. The timing of the college is 8-3.40pm The locality is generally safe to roam around at night.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.
