The subjects are quite intresting and the course itself promises stable future and many career opportunities. The labs work and class work are practical based . I guess the curriculum needs to focus on adding trips and internships to prepare students for outside world . Examination frequency is timing is good.

Campus placements start 6th semester. The placement ratio is quite good in our college. The companies that visited include cipla . Highest paid was 6LPA. 80% STUDENTS. I'm planning to do go for masters while staring a side business

The yearly fee for this course is 11200 per year for four years provided you qualify the exam and get into government seat. If you are going for self finance you have to pay 150000 around in two installments besides the yearly fee. In 4th year of the course the for industrial visit one has to pay 14000. Fee is same for all the categories.

The webinars and seminars happen quite regularly where new inventions and discoveries are studied deeply . The pharmacy day was celebrated in our ist semester. Library is rich with every kind of book related to pharmacy. Besides there is a main library in campus known as Iqbal library where book of every genre is present and has a huge space for studying. It is quite updated and contains e-library also . This semester there was a cricket tournament held by our department and it was quite fun .

The rooms are big . Proper ventilation. Bed , a studying table and chair are provided . The food is nice and the menu has a variety. You have to fill an application form to apply for hostels provided you live far minimum 50kms distance. Besides that a number of pgs and hostels and rented rooms are available around campus .

I was doing B.sc chemistry from cluster University. I didn't see any future in it that made me shift my course and college . The fact that only Kashmir University provides this course made me choose it . I didn't get any rejection from any college. I chose not to go there because this course was not available those colleges . To get admission one has to qualify the examination for b pharma admission conducted by jkbopee and this exam is on merit basis . One should be 12th pass. You should come under top 30 students to get into this course

The total seats per year available are 33 and since the students are less so student teacher ratio is good . The faculty are very much concerned about students and the department runs around the fixed timetable. Personally the faculty I like the most will be Dr Akbar . He teaches us pharmaceutical inorganic chemistry . He is very much concerned about each student and makes sure that we get things in best possible way . Teaches us more than what books have consulted. I think everyone is best at our department. Per semester there are 3 exams which includes two internal assessment and one final external exam . Exams are medium and it all depends on how you study . 1 or 2 among 30 fail the examination.

Kashmir University is surrounded by a number of cafeterias , parks and especially the water body Dal Lake . Rumi food court , Mughal Darbar , 14th Avenue are some places you can visit that contain delicious food. Hostel timings are quite strict . Classes start from 9 30 to 5 in summers and 10 to 4 30 in winters . The locality is safer than any place .
