- Very very poor infrastructure and maintenance of the college
- The ratio for girls is way very less than boys.10:50 in most of the classes
- Hostel food have many issues and timings for college is really worse
Course Curriculum Overview
All the chapters are way to easy in my course.we have mini project and stuffs and also do project based learning those who are interested can learn by themselves they also allow self learning in my department.
Placement Experience
Placement are good.if you really have stuffs you can easily get job and have to learn daily.placement training are really hard and useful that you get time to study on your own from 3rd year. companies are visiting our college.maximum package of 12lpa and minimum of less than 4lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees in VelTech high-tech engineering college for the academic year 2022-2026 in the department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (B.Tech AI & DS) is 50,000 tution fees for all per year with other fees included stationery and stuffs about 20,000 with TNEA counselling. Tution fees -50000 Other fees-20000 In the 1st year we have pay amount of 5000 which will be used for debit and remaining amount will be refunded. Bus expenses will be categorised into 3 major routes depending on the km we travel R1 below 10-15km R2 below 30km and R3 above 30km. I am from R3 and my travel expenses per year with college bus is 38,000 per year.
Campus Life
They allow students girls and boys to speak and be friends with each and doesn't say anything about that in the class room and canteen . Infrastructure and maintenance is too poor.no maintainance of the college
Admission
I got this college due to TNEA counselling and heard about this college from one of my friend.She said it was a good college and they don't simply annoy you and rules are liberal than many other colleges
Faculty
Many teachers don't take any lessons and put marks for handwriting even without checking it. They don't see what is written if the hand writing is good. Mostly they put marks if we fill the paper but sometime teacher may also look for content
Night Life
They don't allow students especially girls outside after 6 o clock and boys can escape from the backside. Hostel are slightly strict for girls but provide leave anytime but they inform parents about that. Don't have any gym but have some cafe and hotel
