- Poor infrastructure and maintenance of the campus

Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very relevant to us I would rate a 4/5 for this course Ai is ruling the world so ai has some future scope to develop career .So that I chose AI DS The curriculum prepares me well so that I could apply all practical knowledge in real life The practical session are needed to be improved by providing many programs and experiments. The frequency of exams are conducted once in two months And exams are very easy to clear
Internships Opportunities
We went to an internship recently to ekkatuthangal NSIC which is national small industries corporation We opted for ethical hacking and cyber security course We learned many new terms and concepts of Cyber Security We did a small project regarding cipher texts Internship duration was 15 days Amount to be paid for it 1,770
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is 2,15,000 INR In that 1,15,000 is the tuition fee Tuition fee includes 20,000 other fee and 5,000 caution deposit Hostel fees is 90,000 Includes caution deposit of 10,000 I am from management quota So I don't avail any scholarship There are other scholarships like PMSS FG
Campus Life
My college life experience is very enjoyable Vel tech conduct many cultural events and technical fests They have Aavishkar the traditional event conducted once in a year And then Other festival events like Christmas,Pongal, new year,Diwali and other events are conducted Each and every classroom is equipped with projectors and every activity hall is equipped with a digital display. Our college have a public Library where students and faculties can access all range of books from the library through library card AI club is there for us which is inaugurated by our HoD . Competitions like CodeInk are conducted and prizes are distributed
Hostel Facilities
Hostel provides us the following: A room for 5 5 bed cots with pillows With 2 attached bathrooms 4 tubelights and 4 ceiling fans 5 study tables 5 personal cupboard Hostel meals are as usual subtle But every night they provide non veg feast for hostellers Hostel registration can be done during the admission process itself Also can be done through our college official website
Admission
I have applied for college like sathyabama ,panimalar and SRM too but due to the distance from my residence,I have to choose vel tech No I didn't get any rejection in other colleges i chose vel tech beacuse they offer course in a lower price compared to other colleges The admission process: First they are asked to submit the following: Aadhar card Xerox Bank passbook xerox TC certificate 10th certificate 12th certificate Income certificate Community certificate And then we need to pay the full fees From then we are asked to join the college
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 7:12 The faculty are very friendly towards us In our department every faculty is jolly type They really care for us and help us academically and financially The best faculty of our department is Sujitha mam Who handles SDS for us There are totally 11 exams per semester 8 exams are theory and 3 exams are laboratory papers.An average of 6 students fail to clear the exams in our department
Night Life
Nightlife in the college campus is elusive There are a lot of hangout spots inside our campus Yes yes food court and fat boys are inside the campus and Besto Cafe Coffe mug and Kaapi day are situated outside the college campus Hostel provide gym facilities for hostellers from 5pm to 8pm
