What Students Say

Likes

The teaching methods and understanding of the teachers is really good
The environment is also good and regularly maintained by the college authorities.
The rules were strictly followed . So, no one go out or come in to the college without permission.

Dislikes

Some of the equipments in lab is not in working condition.
Sometimes canteen food I don't like to eat.
Some lectures come to class room by late.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my school education I thought to study Engineering in college. The faculty are very good they teach very well. And lab staff are a very knowledgeable persons. In the Assessment test it take 1 hour for the test and in board exam it takes 3 hour .

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Internships Opportunities

IIT and and IT companies also came for the internship. I did charging and discharging of solar current. While standing in signal how can collect or charge solar current from the standing position. All are appreciated me.

Placement Experience

The Students are eligible for placement during their 7 th semester. They should have zero arrears in their semester exams. But the percentage of students getting placement is low in college. So I wish they would provide more placement opportunities for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

It varies for various things let see an example, if a student is a first graduate no need to pay full amount , they can pay half of the Rs.15000 in the college fees of Rs.30000. The average hostel fees is around Rs.45000

Campus Life

Dance, Bharathanattiyam, sing a song and certificate provide. All the book are available in library. In the have required table and benches. They also conduct sports and extracurricular activities. No students conduct clubs portals.

Admission

I applied 2 ,3 colleges that is Loyola college, Anna University Thindivanam but for my cutoff I got seat in this college. Addmission gone in the college.cutoffs for the admission is ECE round 1- 23570, round 2- 47759.

Faculty

The faculty to students relationship is like friend. I like Kalaimani Sir because he teaches slowly and and understanding way. 3 Assessment may conducted and finally Board exam. 95% Students pass remaining will fail in one or two subjects.

Night Life

Cafeteria's and library all available before 9 o'clock. Hostel timings are Evening 6 O'clock. Neet ground and canteen inside the hostel friends. This college is very very safe no need to fear about it.

Your Concise review and guide to nit trichy

Placement Experience:

The students start sitting for placement from 6th semester i.e the end of third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of 7th semester itself. The placememt percentage here is very good it is around 90% amd the average placement for 2025 placement session is around 15.76 lakh or maybe higher since results are not made available to us ye, the highest offer is around 55lakh+ according to some fourth year students. The number of companies visiting us are many; they include tech giants such as google,microsoft,amazon, sony, samsung, NVIDIA, quolcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highliting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Wolkswagen, LT, Bosch, mcafee and the list goes on and on and on. i plan on getting a job and then going for higher studies in a foreign university.

Life at NITT

Placement Experience:

Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, SAP Labs, AMD, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Citi, Visa, Warner Bros, Amazon, Rubrik, Meesho, P&G, ITC, etc visit. avg package is 12.56 lakh in mechanical branch placements is overall very good above than 87% . highest was around 62 lakhs but in circuital branch . i want a good hand salary job after that i want to give rest to my parents .

NIT TRICHY- COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best part of this college. This college provides a very good placements both on and off campus to its students the placement percentage is also very good for all the branches ofcourse the placement packages are higher for students of CSE AND ECE branches but others also get a very good package. Students get eligible for placements from the 4th year some even get a PPO from the company they do their intership at in the third year. Big and Prominent comapnies visit our college such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Steel, Qualcom, NVIDIA and more recently they gave around 900 offers to the students the highest package was aroung 65 lpa and the average package stood at 16 lpa for the college which is very good as compared to other colleges. The student placement percentage is also very good where aroung 85-90 percent of the students gets placed evey year in defferent sectors like software, Data Science, Management and Core sectors of their branch.

Memories in College of Engineering Guindy

I have choosen my college since it is the government college and head of all engineering college. My college was totally inspirable in education wise and have all world level reference text books , good library is available. Admission process is very perfect, no money is involved . it is based on only the merit . I too got the admission in PSG tech but still College of Engineering is government college , so i preferred to join. No i didnt get any rejections . The main eligibity is entrance exam only. I chose this college over others like XYZ College and ABC Institute mainly because of its strong placement record, affordable fee structure, and experienced faculty.
