Course Curriculum Overview

This course always has a beautiful scope in the future.As Iam interested in numbers I wanted to take this course. Iam also doing cost and management accountant to develope myself and to be ready for the future.

Internships Opportunities

I've got internship opportunity in the wolters kluwer company which is an IT company which provides various solutions to the agents. I Got an stipend around 5000 per month. I did internship for 4 months over there

Placement Experience

The placements for the college will start from the sixth semester that is the final semester. The campus placement of this college is very good. The average package offered is around 300000.Ive got selected in accenture for 300000 through campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is around 35000 which includes the registration fees, development fees,lab fees and the other charges The exam fees per semester is around 1500 I have received scholarship from the charities near by my home . The scholarship amount was 10000

Campus Life

The B.com department in our college has a seperate club named achievers club.They conduct cultural such as mercium,etc. The commerce bazaar is one of the biggest event conducted by our department to enhance the entrepreneurship among the students.The sports in this campus is also very good

Admission

As I got 96.5 percentage in the 12th board exam, I've applied for loyola college as well as the other colleges. As I was not selected in loyola college for b.com course due to religious issues, I joined the new College which is also nearby my home

Faculty

The relationship between the faculties and the students is so friendly. The faculties clear the doubt of the students at any time. There are 3 exams per semester that is CIA,Model,Main Semester. Those who study will definitely pass their exams as passing the exam is not a difficult task.

Night Life

There are places like beach, malls nearby this campus.we usually hangout there after the classes gets over. The campus has a cafeteria and a library.The campus timing for morning shift is 8:30 to 1:30 and for the evening shift is 2:15 to 6:30

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

Positive is good atmosphere and campus Negative is we can’t enjoy the campus because whenever we cut a class the department cut our international mark and we can’t write exam without 75% mark

Insightful review of The New college: A fresh perspective

I applied to Loyola college,Chennai and SRMIST kattankaluttur, I got rejected by SRMIST due to not being able to pay the donation fees which was around 3 lakhs. I got selected in Loyola college but I chose The New college because it had a greater muslim community and some of my school seniors graduated from The New College.
