Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of relevance, the course is not that much efficient for the students because in this course, there are very less possibilities for experience and knowledge. But if we talked about the comprehensiveness, then the course is quite understandable and the faculty also helps a lot to resolve all your queries regarding the course curriculum. If I have to give some suggestion, then the college should encourage considering new concepts that are useful for the students and could boost their skills and creativity
Fees and Financial Aid
The detailed fee structure for the course of Bachelor of Arts (English) in Bareilly College is around Rs. 2,000 per year. The fees should be paid during the first month of the academic session for the respective year. Students have the option to pay the fees in installlments or they should pay the entire fees together as per their preference. The registration fee and the examination fee were paid online through MJPRU Portal through which the college is affiliated. But, the admission fee (including the tuition fee) is paid only at the college premises. For merituous student and students belonging to reservation catgeories and backward socities, they could claim for scholarship launched by the government and the college staff itself.
Campus Life
My overall experience of the campus life was moderate as I was not much indulged with extra curricular activities in the colllege campus. Even though, the college organizes many cultural festivities and seminars for students still I haven't taken part in these types of events. The classroom and other facilities were simple and effective. In some departments, there is a facility for smartclass also but they are limited to certain departments also. but soon they will implement this facility in all the departments. The library of the college is quite enormous and you can get all types of books, journals, magazines, and other study materials easily. The cost of the library card issued by the college staff is also cost-effective and the librarian is very friendly among all the students
Admission
Firstly, I choose this college because the college was situated in my home town. Therefore, all the cost for transporation, hostel fees were saved. Secondly, the college has a great reputation in my home town and still considered as one of the biggest and oldest educational institutes not only in Bareilly but also in Uttar Pradesh. Finally, the teaching faculty in this college has drawn great attraction to enroll myself in this institute. Now, if I have to talk about the admission process, the admission process is quite simple. You have to enroll yourself through Online Application Portal, fill all the essential details and submit the application form on the online portal with the required documents. After that, the college will release a merit list. If you qualify the merit list, then you are called for a Counselling Session and after the fee payment, your admission process is completed.
Faculty
Bareilly College is one of the oldest educational institutes in Uttar Pradesh. And the institute provides one of the best faculty that are highly qualified on their field. The faculty to student ratio in our college is 1:70 which means 1 faculty for the batch of 70 students. The connection between the students and the faculty are quite interesting. Like some faculty are very friendly who resolve all the queries of the students but there are some faculty who are quite strict towards the students. If we talked about the exam pattern, currently they are conducting the exam in semester. But during my time, the exam was conducted once a year during the month of March - May. The curriculum for the course was not relevant for the students as per my knowledge.
Night Life
As my college was located in my home town only, so there was no need of any hostel or room facility for me. But there are certain places in the college like cafeteria, auditorium hall that were some of the hangouts place in the college premises.
