Remarks
I had applied to Jadhavpur university but did not get admission because I did not have JEE MAINS score and my graduation score was also very less. There were no other good opyions other than jadhavpur university and SISTec. AT SISTec,I had to register first, then during the DTE Counselling process online registrarion is done ,then documents get verified and allotment letter is release. I did all the online process by myself and went to the college once my allotment was finalized.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had not given the curriculum in advance just knew about the course,i.e., BTECH, during my classes I understand the relevance. The structure given by university was not well drafted but some of the additional course by my college were much appreciated like excel traning, hr fundamentals, data analytics session and more Teaching methodology was good, the university need to upgrade the syllabus to match the current scenario The course had weekly assessment and mid-semester exams which were very benefical. The end term were comprehensive and challenging. Overall the schedule was manageable and difficulty level was appropiate for Btech program.
Internships Opportunities
My senoir did intership with SISTec-R,a concern of SISTec,and got 12k as stipend. My senior batch got placed in various companies between the range of 10k to 18k stipend. The hightest range is 30k and my one is SEO.
Placement Experience
The campus placements for BTECH are available during the 7th semester. My senior sat in wipro campus drive at 3.6 LPA but did not get selected during my gap year also I was unwilling to relocate to bangalore. In my senior batch 100% of students got placed, and the average pacakage was around 3.6 LPA. Ultimately I got an in - house placement in one of the sister concerns of the institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
cousre fees:92500 per year T&P charge:3870(one time, paid during 1st year) caution money :1500(Refunable and paid during registration) Registration Charges : 5000(one time) I did not avail any scholarship
Campus Life
My overall experience was good. I was a member of the Student Activity Council in the photography committee and ultimately and chose it as my career. The annual fest Sagar Fiesta is held in march. The library had a range of management books Sports activites were limited for day scholars.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio 1:30. The faculty members were very approachable. Many times they had given me attention to my doubts during their free lecture. My favorite teacher were mythily Mahalingam ma'am and pranjali Bisht Ma'am. There were 8 main exam and 16 mid - semester exams. They were fairly easy,if you had daily attendance. Almost in all semesters, 90%of students cleared the exam. The Course curriculum was also relevant.
Night Life
There was no nightlife for day scholars. Hostel students used to have an evening library and access to the swimming pool and indoor sports. My favorite place was the canteen and verandah outside it. My college timing was 9:00am to 4:10 pm. we had one lecture of the library every week. Outside life is very good.
