Remarks

The fee is quite high and it keeps increasing every year for no reason. The facilities are also a bit low. A bit more facilities can be provided. There should be scholarships for other students coming from outside Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is wonderful. Not just my course the college offers many other courses that can really sow a great asset to our educational life. The course and the syllabus are just on point and on time that getting a job is easy after the course.

Internships Opportunities

No. They don't provide any sort of internship. What they have is short term courses, its practicals, thats all. They do have various projects based on the subject but not internships. They do recommend other institution for internships.

Placement Experience

2.5

The college do not provide for any placements related to the course I opted. But they do have placements for BCA and other computer courses (physical science)but not for life sciences. Job opportunities are still so high.

College Events

5

Every festival is celebrated in our college irrespective of religion. There is scintillation as the intercollegiate events. There is Rhapsody the interclass competition. There are many other events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is actually expensive. The fee is just increasing year by year. Yes the course is getting expensive. But the fee is used up lineantly for all the expenditures at the college.Even the laboratory expenses are spend using the fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships offered by the college. But I was so unlucky that I didn't get any of them. All the scholarships are offered only to Kannadigas and the backward classes. I don't know about loan facilities.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities are the best a college can provide. The laboratories are well equipped with latest and syllabus related materials They are of high quality and useful. Sports department recruits people for all the sport activities

Hostel Facilities

5

The college hostel is the best one can get from the College. It is just like a second home, with tasty food every day. The rooms provide all the facilities one need during their college time. Its just amazing

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and senior students are so helpful during the time of admission and projects. With their skillful experience you can handle any alien situation in the college. They are our second teacher

Exam Structure

There are three exams every semester. First is the class test which accounts for 5 marks as internal assessment. Then comes mid semester which accounts for 10 marks as internal assessment. Then is the semester for 100 marks and practicals for 30 marks

Admission

It was all based on the marks/merit. No entrance was there. The admission committee talked to me like they did to every other student. They checked the marks I had scored. Then I was told to pay the fees.

Faculty

5

The faculty is just amazing. The are very much friendly and helpful. They are there in any sort of problem that occurs. They helped me in my ups and downs every time. They are like a second parent to everyone.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
