Want to get admission in Sagar Institute of Science and Technology Bhopal ?

i personally chose this course becuse it has less comptition compared to others courses and in the ear of AI where every job seems to be taken over by AI, cyber security is somthing that cant be handed over to AI, but thsi course is comparitvely moe difficut than an avergae Computer science course because in this course you need to learn about CSE and also about cyber security, i would recommend you having basic previous knowledge about coding

the internships in this college are decent,i have seen many seniors having an internship in this college, both paid and unpaid, the same companies come for interns as for the jobs or placements, i am a first year so i dont have much knowledge about intership here but from what i ahve heard there are many opportunities for students looking to get an interships.

placements are good in this college with and average LPA of 4 Lakhs, you can allpy for placements from 3rd year, some of the companies that come for recuitment are Sagar Group, CISCO, Ultratek, Bajaj, etc. ONE more good thing about this college is that they give you special placement traning and encourage english as it is curcial for placements, from what i have observed noother colleges have this type training, the highest package in this college was 20 LPA, this college has about 70% of the students getting placed in some companies, i personally dont have any plans of getting a placement now becuase i want to go for higher education and explore more options beforei get a stable job.

i have been studying in this college for quite some time now and i was surprised by the fee structure of this college, its only 2.4 Lakhs per year, i mean its good compared to other colleges who have an annual fee of more than 5 Lakhs, the fee structure includes the hostel and the tution fees.

campus life in this college is good not very good but good, there are both pros and cons about the campus life of this college, the pros being :- there is always some event happening, there are many clubs you can get into, you can do many thing and free seminars to enhance your portfolio, there is a canteen where you and your frineds and meet and talk, there are labs for everything in this college the cons being :- there are always some event happening or seminars but you dont have any information being told to you about that, yiua can only get these information through your seniors or batch mates about the hostel campus life, well its not as you think it is, some seniors are not as friendly as you think, but they are helpful, there are rules for only hostelers, there are meetings every now and then with the seniors, one of he rules being you cant be seen with a girl of your college inside the campus no matter what the reason wellt his only applies for hostleres but if you dont live insode the hostel then you are free to do anything without any restrictions.

the hostel facility are good except for the fact that you cannot install air conditioners in your room on your own accomodation, hostel wifi is very bad, the meal quality is average, there is no onion and garlic in the food and no non veg foos is made or allowed inside the hostel, you can rgister for hostel during you admission process or after the admission process, the water in the hostel is hard water, so it affects your hair and skin, drinking water is also hard water, except this everything is very good

i chose this college over other colleges because it was easier to get into compared to other colleges as there are no entrance exams and you can get into this college just by pasasing 12th with a good percentage (over 65% should be good enough), i tired over 10 colleges through CUET and JEE but didnt score enough to get into them, you can get into other collegs too but this college is also good, depends completely on you, you can have a campus tour too after contacting one of the college official.

one of the good things about this college is that the faculty is very good and helpful, during exams if some students are having trouble doing the sylllabus they give you the list of main topics so that they can pass the exam with flying colours, thats why students love the faculty so much. About the exams, there are actually 3 main types of exams in the college one is class test which happen after the coomplition of every unit and second is MST (mid sem exams) they are internal exmas which give you marks in the internals and finally the end sem exmas happen called RGPV exams, these exams are of 70 marks you need to score above 24 marks to pass

the nightlife is very bad in this college, the hostel gates close at 9:00 PM and then you cannot go outside the hostel after that time, cafeteria and stationary closes too early (4:00 PM), there is a gym you can go to before 7:00 PM, there is a park with swings and other things but you are not allowed to sit there, as i wrote before the campus is too small so there is no famous area to hangout inside the college, you can only go outside the college premises after 4:00 PM and you have to come back before 6:30 PM (only for hostelers) there are many places to hangout outside the college like there is park just 4-5 mins walk distance from the college where you can sit there is also a market in the city where the college is situated (Gandhinagar), there is another market about 30min (in auto) far from the college called the New market, which is much better than the gandhi nagar market. the locality is safe but i wouldnt recommend you going out during night time.
