Review of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College Mylapore, chennai

I liked to do CA so the curriculum I choosed was a way better which lead me to make decision regarding my future plans. The curriculum will make easily to write the competitive exams. There should be computer class and virtual class to make students active and make them understand the topic. The frequency and timing of exams was far better , it will be far enough for preparation and writing the exam.

The fee structure is simple. For first and second sem we need to pay around 30k and we should pay an extra 800rs for each sem for applying to the exam. In my college they were providing scholarship for those who are financially backward and those who score nice marks around 80 plus percentage. If we joining our college after completing 12th the cbse students should secure around 85 percent and matric students should secure around 95 percentage for eligible to award an scholarship of 50k rupees.

Our college will be holiday at the time of festivals. My college will not celebrate the festivals. But it will celebrate the Jayanthi of holy trio Ramkrishna paramhans, Swami Vivekanand, Sri Sarada Devi. All the books in the library can studied by the students. There is no restriction. The students should have their library card to take book to hone from library. There will be an blackboard in which the faculties use chalk piece and explain the topics. My college offers many sports activities like kabadi, cricket, kho-kho, chess, badminton, etc... There is clubs like NCC, NSS, YRC, Rotract. These clubs helps the students to understand the society within and outside the country.

I got admission in DG vaishnava college in Arumbakam, chennai. But I liked the culture of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College. My college is teaching both knowledge and wisdom. My college is enhancing both knowledge and culture of India. Yes I have been rejected from Loyola college in chennai. They expected more marks than I scored and they were seeing religion for the selection. For Christians they giving major priority. So I didn't like to join there. My college admission process is very simple. For B.com general the students should secure a minimum mark of 80 percentage.

Faculties are good and well educated. They were so friendly to the students. All the faculties helping the students to secure more marks in exam. I like Mr. Sree ram sir. He is my Quantitative techniques sir. He is professional in taking maths. He used to make funs of us but his teachings was extraordinary. Even I don't like maths but sir made me to like it. I like every faculty. There is no unlikely in them because every faculty is friendly with the students. None of them discourages the students by their marks. They help and motivate us to take good marks in exam. There are three exams in each semester for B.com general. First two exams will be CIA which is considered as internal assessment and the marks awarded will be converted to 25 marks as internal. The third exam will be main semester exam which will be easy as compared to CIA exam.

There is no gym near my college but there is cafeterias, park near to the college and there Appar saamy temple near my college. There is no hostel in my college. The campus timing is 8.10am to 1.45 pm and 2.15pm to 7.30pm. Our college is located at Mylapore which is the hottest place of the city. There is an mall near to my college named Express Avenue. The locality is very safe to roam at night.
