Course Curriculum Overview

3

As I belonged to the A3 regulation of AICTE, there's nothing special about it just basic courses which are needed in the program. But with the new R23 and later regulations, there's a lot of improvement in the curriculum and courses.

Placement Experience

2

Training and placement people are mostly useless in this college. Placements are not at all upto the mark. Yeah you get good placements in good companies but those are very little in number considering the college's past where many people placed in good companies. Now it is all ruined and CSE and IT students are facing diffuculty in just getting any placement forget about high packages. Fake companies are also recruiting students which could shutdown even before you join the company. College's poor NAAC grade is resisting good companies to conduct drives in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got in with management seat, so for that in 2021, they charged me 180000 per year and never told me about 6000 hidden fee every year at the time of admission. You can get into college for free through EAPCET councelling and should still pay that hidden fee of 6000 every year. In 6000, 3000 is for accreditation fee and 3000 is for T&P fee. And semester fee are separate for each semester which is currently 2100 per semester. There are no scholarship program exclusive to the college other than government's fees reimbursemrent program.

Campus Life

4

Events in the college became a past thing. There used to be atleast 3 good events every year which is now reduced to one every year which is annual day. But student funded events like fresher's day and farewell party are still allowed once a year each. Clubs are very less but existing clubs work well. Forming student led clubs are very restricted and even if you manage to form one, it's monitored by the management. Library is a huge asset if you can make use of it. There are not much portals but some to check marks and attendance and register for semester exams which perform horrible. But campus life is not bad considering comparitively large and well maintained campus and a good canteen.

Admission

I preferred this college over others just because it's nearer to my home. But also the college is spacious with good transport facility and campus is large and maintained well. I didn't apply for any other college. Admission process is mostly basic. There are 3 types of admissions into the college through EAPCET, management seat and NRI seat. There is a different cut-off rank for each program in the college but without EAPCET you can still get into the college by paying more than half the regular fee every year.

Faculty

2

Good faculty student ratio but the knowledge of faculty is questionable. Faculty promises to resolve all the queries on and off the college topics but there's pretty much almost no support you can ask them considering their knowledge.

Interview Experience

5

A councelling was held for the admission which is exclusively for B category with a revised fee because it's a management seat. Regular admission process is quite simple, you just need to write EAPCET and secure the seat through councelling.

Night Life

2

There is a well equipped sports complex and a not a very good gym but yeah it's sufficient. There is a canteen with a wide menu and affordable prices. Inside the campus there are a number of hangout spots everyehere. There are restaurants around the college with affordable prices to celebrate birthday parties and all. Hostel is a bit pricey at around 90000 per year but it's value for money. There is no night life except until 8PM on just annual day.

Our college principal suggested us to join in job and if possible parallel nature to do masters, of course it might possible for me, Somehow without getting into recruited in campus placements went to Hyderabad for to join in IT Sector. Since, we are the first most batch to our college may be with that reason for mine not to get to active in to get more number of placement companies.
