Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good and the teaching methods are good because some faculties conduct workshops and we will be having labs or projects for the subject we have chosen so will also be learning them practically instead of theoritically. We will usually have 2 mids which we call as CAT, and final exam called as FAT. We have quizes in between which contribute to our final score. There's absolute and relative grading depending on the subject.
Internships Opportunities
There are lot of internships offered at our college. The stipends range over 20k to 50k based on the company that we got into. The roles also vary depending on the company and all, you can visit our colleges offical page for all the stats.
Placement Experience
We can apply for internships when we are in our 3rd year. There alot of companies that visted and offered placements such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meesho, Delloite, TCS, HP, KPMG, D.E Shaw, wellsfargo, IBM, Accenture, Cognizant and all, around 800 companies usually visit. Around 80% will be placed. As of 2024 the highest package was 27lpa and 2025 its around 40 as per my knowledge(this may vary) and the average package would around 14lpa maybe.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee would be around 1,90,000 if we joined through vit exam i.e, viteee but if we join through ap eapcet the tution fee is around 70,000. And if we have any state reiumbursements we can use those. Coming to the hostel it varies based on the room type. we have 12 bed dorms where the cost is around 1,00,000 and 4 bed, 5 bed, 6 bed, 2bed we have both non ac and ac the noc would be around 10k less when compared to ac. then we have mess fee where we have veg mess, non veg mess and special mess, for veg it is around 65k and nonveg is around 71k and special mess is bit more
Campus Life
We have 2 major events that would occur in our college, one being vtapp this is a huge technical fest which offers wide range of opportunities to participate from coding to workshops everything and students from other colleges can also join in it. And next is vitopia usually held in feb is a non tech fest which is usually of 2 days where a lot of co curricular activities were held.
Hostel Facilities
We can rent a room or pg in near villages or in guntur or vijayawada. Rooms are good in some particular blocks with good ventillation. And coming to food no matter what we definitely miss the homefood. the food is acceptable but isn't usually spicy, so for those who eat spicy it will not upto taste
Admission
I have joined through eamcet. I applied for various colleges and my mains percentile was 93.7 so i couldnt get my desired college. So the best option was me for eamcet. Luckily the same in 2021 through eamcet we can join VIT-AP. And that was the reason for me to choose because after nit's it is believed that univeristies offer that range of academics, freedom and student development. So I opted for it. We can join VIT-AP, either by viteee or ap eamcet
Faculty
The course structure aligns with industry trends. The FFCS makes the students to have a customised timetable, and choose their own learning paths along with the faculty they prefer. Some faculties are quite approachable and friendly and reasonable where some are we know how they are.
Night Life
There are gyms, cafeterias to hangout. The campus timings are usually 8 am to 8 pm and hostel we can go from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm. Famous hangout places are backside of ab1 and 2, rock plaza and food street. The univeristy is in outskirts we have to visit vijayawada or guntur because there's nothing near our college except for trees and roads
