Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS is a hectic course.. And if u only study here u will face depression and your mental health will suck... But that white coat and the tag Dr. Can only be earned through hard work.. I feel it's tough but worth it And the toughness of the course is to make us mentally fit to face any situation... Being a doctor we have to face many things...

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship- After 4.5 years of MBBS we have one year of internship program in the college itself.. All students who pass 4th year exams are eligible to do internship. And after doing this only you get the tag which u waited for so long 'Dr.'

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of aiims is minimal. The yearly fees is only Rs. 1628. So the fees of whole course comes out to be Rs. 8140. This includes tution fees as well as hostel, sports, extracurricular fees as well. Additionally, we have to pay for our food. Since i don't eat mess food I don't have idea of charges of that..

Campus Life

4

Annual fest -'Aura' held around March each year. Along with it... We have many other functions happening in our college. Library-Many books... I don't have exact idea about number Sports and extracurricular activities i have already described We have commities for different things like literary, sports, dance etc.

Admission

I applied for aiims delhi but didn't get a seat... Then i had two options delhi colleges.. Or aiims.. Going by the tag i preferred aiims The only way to get admission here is your neet-ug scorecard. And since the competition is increasing these day... For general and obc students.. You have to get 700+ marks out of 720 to get admission here

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good.. For ex. In physiology alone we have around 6-7 professors along with other residents. Talking about the faculties all of them teach good... But the problem is most of us don't concentrate much during classes.. ???? Now if we talk about exams.. So we have internal and external exams.. Internal exams are conducted by college as semester -1 and 2 and then at the end of year, we have final exams. Most of the students manage to pass the exams(with 1 or 2 exceptions )

Night Life

5

Our college is located quite outside the city... Still you can find many places to hangout.. In hostels. For boys there is no timing... And for girls i don't know.. Yaa the campus is fully safe to roam at night... We have guards.. And you will find children playing in courts so no worries

The curriculum followed by the college is similar to the curriculum of National medical council which offer about the duties of Indian medical graduate. The exams conducted by the administration are moderate to difficult but can be passed if studied regularly. Three semesters are conducted every year and a final university exam is conducted. The passing rates are good.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
