What Students Say

Likes

The labs and the infrastructure of the college.
The classroom are projecter based and the benches are ok.
The faculty is good and their explaination is good

Can improve the classroom as it feels congested sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum helps in analyzing the real time situations. Can help by increasing pratical learning than theoretical. The frequency of exams is 2 months for first mid and second mid. Then after semester end examinations.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 115500 per year

Placement Experience

From 3-2 campus placement training starts. Some companies like capegemini,tcs,accenture visited here. The average package is 600000 and profiles are developer, programmer etc. To join any company with good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is Rs 115500 and the hostel fees is Rs 90000. For reservation candidiates Rs 80000. Sem fees to be paid extra at the time of semester end examinations. Management is also available in the college.

Campus Life

The events are code pragna, hackathons etc. The availability of books is good and easily availabile. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and a good board. Sports like cricket,basketball,volleyball etc. Groups like photography club, coding club etc.

Admission

The college I applied are ace cmr vbit but due to certain reasons I didn't get the branch I opted for The reason is I didn't get the branch I wanted to opt for but I got the seat in ace which I wanted The exams accepted are eamcet and the cutoff is generally 20k for oc. I think so.

Faculty

The faculty are good and they solve the queries. There are top notch faculties like Khaleel sir. There are so many exams such mid 1,2 and end sem exam. The chance of clearing depends on the paper as sometimes it may be easy and sometimes little difficult.

Interview Experience

No I didn't face any interview so far. The process is simple take your certificates and see to it that they wish to take. I prepared by myself and I took help of the online sources from the net and it helped me.

Night Life

All the facilities in the college close off by 5:00 pm Hostel and Campus timings are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Famous places are open gym, canteen etc and the locality is okay to roam but at night it can be dangerous

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

Pros and cons of nitw

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the students are getting ppo , it's obvious because of nirf of nitw and top placements are here only. Around 80 percent of students are placed if we skip the biotech branch because they all go for higher studies Highest package was 88lpa last year and the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is about 13lpa I want to go for tech placements and want a package of 30 lpa that's enough for me

I applied to amrita university in coimbatore and also attempted the entrance exam.
