Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers core subjects like DSA, OOPs, ML, DL, DBMS, ehich influenced my decision to choose this course. It provides a solid foundations for real-worls applications but some topics feel outdated and lack hands on industry exposure. While it prepares for jobs and heigher studies, practical training and industry-relevant tools like cloud computing and AI should be Integrated.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly tution fee is 85,000 toataling around 1,00,000 with other expenses. A 20,000 caution fee is required. No Scholarships are available, and students must pay for internships and fee may increases
Campus Life
Campus life was vibrant with anuual festivals like Arohan and tech fests. Which broughts students together for tech challenges and cultural events. Classrooms had smar boards, projectors and wifi enhancing learning. The college offered clubs which helped in skill developments.
Admission
I applied PIET and dayal Bag University but i got confirmed admission only fro PIET which is my current College. And i Chose this college because of its strong faculty structured course and better Placements. Rejections and Challenges : I couldn't get into other institutes due to there is no such CS branch and due ti high fee structure . Admission Process and Eligibility: The admission process includes an entrance exam a minimum 60% in 12th and sometimes personal interview. The admission experience was smooth and document verification .
Faculty
The faulty to student ratio is approximately 1:25, ensuring that professor are fairly accessible. Most Faculty members are approachable and helpful. Among the best faculty prof. sharma stood out for his deep knowledge and teaching skills. However prof. Verma was often unhelpful as he focused too much on theory without practicals. The course structure follows a semester system, with two major exams per semster midterms and finals. About 10-15% strugle with tough subjects while most students pass.
Night Life
Nightlife around campus is moderate, with limited late-night options. The library close by 9PM, and cafeterias shut by 10PM. Hostel gates close 11 pm. Inside campus, students hand out at cantee, student lounge and sports complex. The locality is safe, with decent Cafe Aroma which stay open till midnight.
