Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a little bit outdated in some fileds such as classical animation, The college is still teaching flash animation which has been replaced with animate CC, but subjects such as pre production and still life are really relevant and good as they have shaped my vision to view the world in a more artistic for, same goes for digital classes.
Internships Opportunities
We can get interships from the 3rd year of the college and in companies like Gold leaf and other animation companies, We can get both paid and unpaid internships and its really good for gaining experience as it helps in portfolio.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is 4 year course yearly fees is 140000 but if u opt for hostels it get 10000 more They have an installment program for every year, i.e 35000 every 3 months for a year. Its clearly affordable for a middle class person.
Campus Life
The college has many student run clubs funded by the college such as Otaku clud, Music club and dance club, College also hosts Annual Athena which is like a week of programs conducted in the college, college provides less to none facilities and we have to arrange such things on our own. College lacks a playground so we have to go to external grounds to play even small events.
Admission
The other college i tried reaching was NID, the reason were simple as it was a government college and the rates of placements are significantly higher, but i dropped my idea of joing NID was because the fees structure of NID was out of mya financial capabilities, and i heard that artemisia is like only second to NID so i applied here and got selected.
Faculty
Currently im in the first year of my course and i have 5 subjects, i have liked all the 5 faculties, especially sanjoy sir and avinash sir, as they both are really good at what they teach and have helped me a lot in learning how to draw and represent things on a computer screen or on pen paper, the least liked faculty member is nilanjan sir as he teaches only when you approach him for asking stuff, otherwise he only guves assignments in his class and does his own personal work.
Night Life
College night life is worst thing in the college as the area college is situated in is on the outskirts of the city and is very unsafe especially for Females, And there are no gyms, Libraries and public area in college, the cafeteria also closes after 5PM
