Course Curriculum Overview

4

I want to be a professional in commerce, and my college provided specialization in commerce, like CA, CS and Generel, which focused on the future actions of the students and exams are also tentative which atleast had one and half month after wach one, only way I can suggest is to provide the practical way of applying the things which is learnt

Placement Experience

2

Placement didn't well that good, and companies appeared in very small number. TCS and Secretary General are the only companies, and in your 5th sem you are eligibile for campus recruitment. About 10 percent of students got placed. My planning is to continue my journey as C A

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college chrages Approx 26000/- tution fee for an year for students of Bachelor of commerce, and usually we dont get any installment for the payment of fee, and about scholarships are offered for merited studentes as well and I personally availed SSP scholarship from state government, which benifited me and from first year to final year, college fee increased like 1000 in an average. I am from general category. For first year, I paid like 24000 and in second year 25000 and final year 26000, and exam fee is not included in the college fee, we have to pay it saperately.

Campus Life

5

After the pandamic, the recovery was a bit slow, and our college provides extra curricular activities such as sports, Rovers and Rangers, NCC, NSS, culture centers and many more. When about library it is the best in the Mangaluru district

Hostel Facilities

4

Menue is good. Week based menue and not oftenly changed. Really fare and low price not more than 2800 per month. And meal quantity is as yiu wish. Even hostels registration procell is also done in the college only. PG are walkable from hostel

Admission

I am from a village area in Chikkamanglauru, and the best place which is affordable for my stream is this and this is the only college which I have applied and the admission process is pretty simple, nothing to worry so much, make sure that you are an early bird that's all

Faculty

4

The Faculties are very friendly and the ratio for studentes and facilities is 40:1, and thre is no reason to hate any of them, every one of the faculty in my department are supportive and well guiding and even that to depends on your commitment to the course which you opted...

Interview Experience

5

No nothing, Direct entry, only need to maintain the percentage criteria in pre university. And you you scored the percentage less the desired one you may nit get the seats. And the interview is just for the formal while admission.

Night Life

4

Gyms are available (not been there) and holtel timing is 6 in the evening and 8 in the morning. CAFETERIA is good and library are specious and play ground is also very big and hangout places are like parks, in the ground.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
