Likes
- The most commendable thing about the college is the outstanding and excellent faculties. The facilities are well qualified, knowledgeable and approachable, they are kind and provide clarity in the concepts.
- The infrastructure is also very nice. The classrooms are well furnished and air conditioned. Facilities of sports, library and smart classes are also provided by the college.
- The placements are also pretty good and many big companies like Infosys, IBM etc have recruited students from our college.
Dislikes
- The campus size of the college is a little small.
- Library books are only based on academics. Novels or other biographies can also be kept in the library.
- The canteen food is not that great in taste.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course offers subjects of various departments like sales, marketing, HR, finance, IT, economics, etc. Exams are conducted on semi annual basis. The exams are of 75 marks and the rest 25 marks are given by the faculties of the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of the course is 2.7 lakhs. It is based on semester basis which is 45000 each semester. By availing scholarship on the basis of class 12th marks, the student can get 25% scholarship on the first year fees. And from the second year scholarships of 10% will be given to the students having marks more than 75%.
Campus Life
Various curricular activities, workshops, seminars, events, etc are conducted in the college. Various clubs are formed by the students in the college like CSR club, innovation club, cultural club, etc. Sports day, Diwali fests, Dandiya fest, etc are also celebrated in the college.
Admission
I applied for BCOM in DU but got an average college which was not that great and it was far away from my residence so I didn't select that college. I found about Jims Noida through online sites and reviews and found it interesting. I applied for BBA in this college as it was pretty good.
Faculty
The most impressive thing about the college is the faculties of the college. The faculties are well qualified, knowledgeable and easily approachable. They provide clarity in the concepts and use interesting ways of teaching the concepts to make it easy for the students to understand.
Interview Experience
The interviewer was a faculty of the college. Some questions related to 12th class were asked like Business studies, Accountancy, economics, etc. I answered all the questions and cleared the tests and got admission in the college.
Night Life
There is a small market in front of the college. There is a big mall near the college where me and my friends usually hang out. Dmart, McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks etc are also near to the college on walking distance.
