Likes

The environment was very adaptable and teachers make sure that students will get comfortable and familiar with rest of the class mates
Co- curricular activities are also there to ensure students overall development
Trips and tours are also organised including other fun activities

Dislikes

Strictly attendce for classes otherwise one have to pay fine
Out siders not allowed in the college at all
Cateen food not good as it can make anyone sick

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose bachelor of commerce and this course is beneficial in every aspect as i can work in any field . Teaching techniques can be improved by including practical approaches . Exams were held twice a year and the difficulty level was easy to moderate

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for a year was ?50000/- . Registration fee was only paid once which was about 3000/-. Morever fee concessions were provided to minority category students. Minority students usually pay half the amount of general category fee .fee structure was somewhat affordable

Campus Life

My experience in this college was amazing as there were tech fest , festival celebrations held every year . Many sport events held every 2 month . Many clubs like rotary, environmental groups were there it was fun to be part of this college

Admission

I choose this college because it was near by my home and most reputed college in my locality. I haven't applied to other colleges as i got admission in this college at once. The admission process was simple, less complicated.

Faculty

Student teacher ratio is 70:1 and teachers are intelligent and cooperative with students especially Sonia mam was my favourite and the teacher i dont like was pushpinder mam as she was arrogant and strict. Exam held twice a year and the difficulty level were somewhat easy to moderate

Interview Experience

Yes group decision were also the part of classes as viva was all there in every class . Groups were formed of 10 in each group and everyone was goving predecided topis to have discussions over and it was really fun to be the part

Night Life

Night life was not that happening as hostellers were to stay in time limits but regular activities were held to make students not feel bored . Many places were near college to enjoy free time till 8 in the night

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was quite relevant and the way it was followed made it more easier. The practical applications were less but still enough to prepare the student for real world. I would suggest to explore the practical aspect more and discuss enough case studies.

Cource curriculum relevant. Provide with practical and theoretical knowledge. But needs some improvement with the teaching method. That is need of some projector in the classrooms. Overall decent college but need several improvements

I applied for vit vellore , bits . They had very hefty amounts of fess. Which i might not afford. Thats why i did not take admission in these college . My 4 year fees is their aunnal fees. I cleared the exams of vit and bit. For financial reasons i did not take admisison . For other courses rather than btech the college tame entrance tests . For btech jee mains is preffered . The cutoff generaly goes till 85% . There is also a managemnet quoto. Please dont make this statement public. Instead of 130000 they take 300000 for a year in fees....Read More

GNDU gurdaspur experience

The admission process at main campus is based on jee mains ranking. However if you couldn't get a seat there then you can definitely get a seat here with some decent marks in 12th exam. The reasom to choose this college is you are still part of GNDU Amritsar and can avail those services to your best. Your degree will hold some value better than some local college. The university is associated to government and thus doesn't bother you unnecessary for money as some private universities are reputed to. That is enough reason to choose it over than a local college.the usual cutoff of admission is around 2-2.5lakh based on jee mains. But this is increasing day by day based on increasing competition.
